  1. Actually, I have seen him play, but it doesn't matter. I don't need to be familiar with him to poke holes in your arguments, which so far have been: "He didn't hit the heights he could have in club football because it's very hard for players to get scouted in Peru" (the guy played in Portugal) "Sporting are a good team to have played for because their good players are often poached by bigger and better teams" (he remains unpoached) and lastly "He could be one of the best defenders in the PL, but just playing in Europe at all is a great achievement for him"

  2. I think that is why I now prefer the Europa League Group Stages, it's not as cut and dry overall as the Champions League Group Stages. Manchester United lost twice in last season's Group Stages, Dundalk beat Maccabi Tel-Aviv and only lost 2-1 to Zenit, Roma drew three games, Genk topped their group, Sassuolo finished bottom, Fiorentina lost to PAOK and Southampton and Internazionale failed to qualify from their group. I think as well you get a more diverse selection of sides than the Champions League, where the same sides seem to qualify year in, year out.

  3. Storts edited one comment I made towards Teso once on an old forum to make it a bit more aggressive. The result of that action was a Mexican who supports 5 clubs absolutely hates Leicester more than anyone in the world hates anything else. Simple but effective.

  4. Hi guys - particularly Thomas! Had a skype call from liverbird (thea) last night after almost a year out of contact. She and hubby Danny have been travelling around and are still not back home, but both are well and she sends her best wishes (and luv if you want it) to all old friends from TFF. I am trying to get her to join here (another 04 person would be nice) cos' I need some support and the one I've been wearing is getting old! Bring on Bayern next week but give me a few days to find a good hiding place. The way we are playing we will all get a good hiding anyway

  5. https://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/706524/artikel_kuehne-ueber-hsv-engagement_fuer-mich-ist-schluss.html Kühne, once again, announced he´d stop to support HSV financially. If he´s serious this time I can see dark clouds over their future since they the only reason they weren´t in trouble licensewise was the massive amounts of money suggardaddy Klaus Michael pumped into their bank accounts.
