MARCA deliver their front page this morning in reference to Real Madrid's home draw against Valencia 2-2 with a front page headline that reads; "Slammed the breaks on the champions".  They still laud Asensio's performance which was magisterial according to MARCA.

MUNDO DEPORTIVO deliver their front page with Ousmane Dembélé's arrival at the offices of FC Barcelona yesterday where he passed his medical (he will be presented today)...  The front page headline were his first words to the press; "It's a dream",  Other news on the front page, how PSG search for ways to bypass the FFP rules after acquiring Monaco's Mbappé on loan.  Also up top Real Madrid's 2-2 draw at home with Valencia CF.

MARCA deliver today's front page in reference to a comment Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos made to a Madrid based journalist live on air when he asked the player if he thought the Santiago Bernabéu crowd would whistle Gerard Piqué in the all important clash on Saturday where Spain entertain Italy for qualification for the World Cup in Russia...  Sergio Ramos said; "Those who whistle at Piqué, whistle all of us".

MUNDO DEPORTIVO's front page speculates on a supposed 'Plan B' if the Philippe Coutinho move from Liverpool to Barça doesn't come off...  The names they draw up are Griezmann, Dybala and Lemar.  On the left they also speculate that Barça may have been in contact with Juventus to attempt to sign Paulo Dybala.

SPORT continue to go with the Coutinho saga with them saying that from Brazil news says Coutinho could tense the situation with Liverpool even more to try and force the move to FC Barcelona.  At the bottom the newspaper also counties to speculate on the Di María story with an apparent two players possibly moving to PSG with the Argentinian moving to the Camp Nou.

VALENCIA

Regional Valencian sports daily SUPER DEPORTE deliver their front page for today with Arsenal's Lucas Pérez as the focus of attention.  Apparently in the past 24 hours Valencia CF have been in contact with both Arsenal FC and the player to try and convince him to move to Mestalla.  The player is known to be pining for a move back home to Deportivo La Coruña, but the Galician side cannot rise above €9m and Arsenal have completely said no to that... From there Depor have only been able to offer a loan deal option that Arsenal don't really want either.  Valencia are willing to offer the money Arsenal want but Lucas Pérez doesn't want the move and has already turned down four other "big" moves elsewhere with his dream of moving back home.

Portugal's A BOLA deliver their front page in the story surrounding Barcelona's Brazilian right-back Douglas possibly moving to SL Benfica.  A move could be announced in the next hours.

Argentina's OLÉ CLARÍN deliver their front page in reference to the upcoming World Cup qualification games and the speculation on how Jorge Sampaoli will set-up his Argetnina national side.  They speculate that Sampoili has been experimenting with Messi, Acosta, Icardi, Dybala and Di María all in the same side.  The question is whether Mascherano or Fazio will play in central defence.

MARCA deliver their front page in reference of how Real Madrid missed out on the signing of Kylian Mbappé.    There were apparently various issues involved from the player.  Real Madrid wanted to sell one of their front three but at the price Real wanted to bring in, nobody wanted to buy.  Their favoured player for leaving was Gareth Bale. Also how Florentino Pérez just didn't see the marketing value at the price Monaco were quoting.

MUNDO DEPORTIVO's front page for today focuses on a interview held with FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu where he is mainly quizzed on all the problems and negatives surrounding the club especially the vote of censure by Agustí Benedito.  The front page headline is in reference to one of the quotes made by the Barça president; "We have to be more optimistic with this Barça side".  It think the negativity isn't so much with the side and more with him and his board.  He's obviously not listening to the fans correctly!

SPORT dedicate their front page this morning to the ongoing rumour that Iniesta may be playing out his final season at Barcelona and that he could be moving next summer.  It is known that Juventus want him and that the president of Juve has phoned Iniesta personally telling him he wants the player to take over Pirlo's mantle.  On knowing this, Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu setup an emergency meeting with the player yesterday.

MARCA deliver a rather humorous front page this morning coupled with the front page headline stating that the big game in La Liga in on tonight; "For Dinner We Have Caviar".  The humorous part using a plate and a knife and fork is because of the curious statements both Diego Someone and Ernesto Valverde made in the pre-match press conference.  The Atleti coach answering a question about how they would set-up the grass he stated that when he invites someone around his house he doesn't expect the person invited to question what he puts on the table.  Valverde when told about Simeone's remark, he answered humorously that his team will adapt to the menu and the crockery.

MUNDO DEPORTIVO also deliver their front page in reference to tonight's big game between Atlético Madrid and FC Barcelona.  Their front page headline states that this game has arrived at an important moment.

AS offer this morning's front page also focusing on tonight's big La Liga clash between Atleti and Barça with a front page headline that reads; "The Wanda Metropolitano examines the leader".  They also have those funny quotes both coaches made in yesterday's pre-match press conference.

SPORT deliver their front page this morning with a front page containing Messi and stating that he's in the form of his life.  The front page headline reads; "Messi is frightening".  At the bottom they also focus on Real Madrid's game away to Getafe and the suggestion that Zidane will be risking somewhat with rotations.

Regional Valencia sports daily SUPER DEPORTE offer this morning's front page on another big game in La Liga this weekend between to in form sides, Valencia and Real Betis. The front page headline suggests that it's a sort of final seeing that they have both started the season in a similar fashion and that any victory either way could mark a different path respectively.

Italy's LA GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT have an ingenious front page referring to the three big games in Series 'A' this weekend which see Juventus take on Lazio, Roma clash with Napoli and then you have the Milan derby between Inter and AC Milan.  The front page headline reads; "Everyone Against Everyone".

Portugal's A BOLA this morning provide their front page focusing on the game today between Olhanense and Benfica in the Taça de Portugal.

MARCA deliver this morning's front page lauding Real Madrid's victory away to Getafe and also Cristiano Ronaldo getting off the mark in La Liga.  The front page headline reads: "He always Returns".

MUNDO DEPORTIVO focus on Barça's game at the Metropolitano where they drew against Atlético Madrid.  The front page headline reads; "Massive Point".  At the bottom they refer to Real Madrid's victory at Getafe where Cristiano Ronaldo rescued them in the 85th minute.

AS focus on Real Madrid's last ditch victory at Getafe by 1-2.  Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 85th minute to take the three points.  The front page headline reads; "Cristiano Breaks His Duck".  Up top AS put their own take on Barcelona's result against Atlético Madrid...  For AS, Barça couldn't cope with the Metropolitano, yet they go onto say Atleti started better and Barcelona dominated the second half.
