shock that Liverpool have never lost a game

People love to cry about a pro-Liverpool conspiracy in the media, but not predicting us to lose makes perfect sense. We're rightly favourites against 14 or 15 teams in the league, and we had a very good record against the top teams last year. We also played Man City quite early in the season before it became apparent quite how good they are (and we gave them a good game 11 v 11).

pretty sure for the last 2 seasons he's also predicted you not to lose.

Not a conspiracy as such but it is tiresome how many former Liverpool and United players are prominent as pundits. To be fair most pundits are as big mongs as each other regardless of previous allegiances, Savage for example and I don't think Thierry Henry comes across that well either.

As for predicting teams not to lose once in 20 games it is a bit embarrassing. If predicting Liverpool not to lose makes perfect sense (I do see where you're coming from by the way) then he probably should have predicted City to win every single game because it's been clear from quite early on they're favourites against every team in the league.

It would be interesting to see how the table would look if you took predictions from members on this forum who have taken part in Stans weekly prediction league.

A little weekend project for someone? :whistling:

If you are just going to predict based on bookmakers odds then you don't really have any insight to offer. Which is worrying for a pundit.

You would surely alter your predictions as the season went on based on what you are learning about each side as they go. That doesn't mean you would be accurate but the table would look more realistic.

Huddersfield to win nothing at all in 20 games cannot be justified. It makes no sense at all.

Watford to have only won 2 games? What was he watching for the first dozen games? It was obvious they'd win a handful.
