  2. Vital win for Everton in the Merseyside derby, whilst Sheff Utd are resigned further to relegation despite scoring twice at Man Utd. Everton host Brentford next and a win for either side (or a draw for Brentford) coupled with a Luton loss will mean that survival is ensured and they can now leave this subject matter well alone!

  4. Some more classic Championship mayhem ensues going into the final 2 rounds of the season. Leicester bagged 6 priceless points against far better opposition than their previous two games; whilst Leeds dragged themselves into 2nd place edging Middlesbrough in a 7-goal thriller. Both capitalised on Ipswich not playing. Southampton played themselves out of the title race although one could argue they never really got themselves back into it; and they still do have a shot at promotion, albeit extremely slim and verging on impossible. But it could all change once again this weekend! Leeds play first out of the top 3 on Friday vs QPR, and a loss for them means Leicester will be promoted before kicking another ball. A draw for Leeds means Leicester also just need a draw, whilst Ipswich have the benefit of a game in hand to try and wrestle back into the top 2 - albeit their opponents are also chasing play-offs. Southampton simply have to win their two remaining games, and hope there's a ridiculous swing in goal difference in the process. West Brom have somehow played themselves into still needing a point to secure a play-off place after only 1 win in 6. They will probably be fine given their goal-difference, though. Norwich just need a win and hope Hull and Coventry don't win 1 of their remaining games. Hull overcame Coventry in a very important play-off chasing game last night, but the latter still have an outside shot if they win all of their games however it is out of their hands given they need 2 of the sides above them to drop points too. 11. Tell me it’s not the mini brush between the players on the side line. Please tell me it’s not that. Whoever was the VAR in that game should be shot dead.
  12. According to the Daily Mail, Vincent Kompany told Darren England he was a "fucking cheat" multiple times in their match against Chelsea. Now if the Daily Mail is telling the truth (and that's a big if) it makes what Kompany said after the match so funny. After the match, Kompany said: "I've said it to the referees themselves, the officials, refereeing hasn't been good enough this season. And I have said that in, I think, a constructive way."
  13. Wolves got fucked over again tonight. Watch this clip 5 times and I bet you won't be able to work out why this goal got disallowed without opening the comments.
  14. I wanted to throttle him. I still do, he’s useless in front of goal.
  15. Every Liverpool fan I know has completely lost patience with him and just us to eat the loss and move him on ASAP. Terrible signing. Julian Ward must have been a United or Everton fan too. Came in, pissed away a load of money on some bad signings, then promptly quit and fucked off into the sunset. No idea where he's at now, but he probably shouldn't be working in football lol
  16. Nunez for £85m will go down as an absolutely horrific investment. Rare for Liverpool. After he hammered that chance straight down Pickford's throat I think the away end joined in with the chorus of "you're just a shit Andy Carroll".
  17. If anyone's interested in Salah for a decent price this summer, I think we'd be mental not to sell. He's been rubbish since his return from the AFCON injury and is genuinely looking like one of our worst players out there. He'll always be a legend and I've got nothing but respect for the man for how he's played for us but... I'm increasingly believing he's well passed his best. Nunez needs to be shown the door ASAP imo. I've given up all hope with him. He's aged me with his incomprehensibly shit finishing - I'm tired of watching him play for us. In some ways, maybe the way things have fallen off for us so dramatically is a good thing in the long run. I think now nobody will question really any big changes Edwards & Hughes might want to make and I think there's a lot less pressure on Slot/whoever the fuck comes in after Klopp considering how the season's fallen apart.
  18. Consistently inconsistent is how I sum this season up. Howe plays 4D chess against himself, stubborn as a muel. We are in that end of season malaise
  19. Yeah that's because Arjen Robben was actually world class, while Diaz is a million miles from world class
  20. Mo Salah has previous for dropping off post African Nations. He's not the sole reason they have dipped but he's so massive to Liverpool and yet he's miles off it. I just think it takes a lot out of him physically and emotionally, really ruins his rhythm for his club. You need your best players at this stage and he's literally bagged a couple pens in like the last 6/7 games. Not even been that pivitol in build up play either, looks so sloppy. And I don't know how many more let off's and pardon's Darwin Nunez is allowed to have with his finishing but I tell you one thing, at least Firmino had the finess with hos touches and could trap a ball and tee it off nicely than have the ball just bounce off him and stop moves. I have to say as well, Andy Robertson looks a shadow of the full back he was two/three seasons ago. Really has dipped his level for me and he's been arguably the best LB in the league for a while too. There's some big calls for this Football club to make this summer now. If it was me, I'd probably take the money and replace Salah whilst he holds some value. Not sure holding for a year and going for free makes great business sense.
  21. Arjen Robben went on to achieve things that I don't think we'll see Diaz do because like you said his end-product is non existent.
  22. He works hard but he's got absolute dogshit end product. Like Arjen Robben, always just cutting inside looking to shoot - only problem is he's fucking shit at shooting.
