  2. What an a fucking sprint race. That battle between Alonso, Perez, Sainz and Charles was epic. You have to watch it.

  4. Baby Reindeer - 8.5/10 Probably the first time I’ve teared up since Coco. Very tough watch.

  7. I put two bets on the other week as insurance against us collapsing which were Leeds 1st Ipswich 2nd, and Ipswich 1st Leeds 2nd. So naturally, obviously, Southampton are going to do it.
  8. NEVER BET ON THE EARLY KICK-OFF
  9. @The Palace Fan @DeadLinesman need to predict. Hopefully the last race in a while where you can't rely on leaving it to Saturday morning to get it done before quali.

  13. It feels weird we are seemingly out of this given the season we've had and the results against Luton, Forest and Everton. Sadly I think the bottom three are set now. Next season will be more interesting looking at the top four in The Championship, Palace likely to lose Olise and another, Brentford likely to lose Toney, Forest likely to lose Gibbs-White and Everton may find it difficult to strengthen. I think Palace and Brentford will adapt but I'm not sure about the other two. Wolves always seem close on the PSR limit too.
  14. A bit annoying West Ham and Newcastle still have something to play for after our Liverpool win.
  15. I think the palyoffs are pretty much set with Norwich's remaining fixtures. I'd quite like to see Sara at Palace so selfishly I don't want them to go up. I still think it's Leicester's to lose but the matchday going fans really need to get behind them for the remaining fixtures, there seems to be a darker cloud over them than the other three competing teams when things aren't going there way even though Southampton's odds for automatic promotion were huge a couple of weeks back.
  16. This weekend feels like a must win for Sheffield Wednesday. I'd feel a bit bad for Danny Rohl, as given it took them 13 odd games to get there first win, he's done a very good job with them. I reckon it will be the current three that go down.
  17. TIL there's a club called Gotham FC. That's cool as fuck.
  18. He's done a hell of a lot better than I expected considering the performance at SPAL, but I guess these Roma players are a hell of a lot better than his old squad. Good for him, I loved him as a player - wish him well with his managerial career.
  19. "But if we don't have international friendlies where we charge outrageous ticket prices to foreign fans, how will they know we care about taking their money too?"

  21. These dickheads continue to be dickheads. US foreign policy continues to be the biggest poison in international politics.
  22. Man the Bayern Arsenal tie was one of the most boring as it turned out Idk Im not really confident in our team these days but the competition just seems so open. All these teams are fairly beatable that are left.
  23. We'd have a hard time getting our forwards to score in a brothel at the moment, so I'm not too optimistic about anything.
  24. There was violence, vandalism, and the literal point of his protests was civil disturbance. I'm pretty sure the point of any protest is civil disturbance. The big distinction is: black people in the civil rights era were very much being oppressed by a racist and white supremacist establishment. That makes any violence and vandalism seem a whole lot more justified. I think anyone in the west has the right to protest (which again, is inevitably going to be some kind of civil disturbance because that's the fucking point of a protest) - but I'm not sure violence and vandalism can be excused when people are protesting against oppression that the protestors themselves are not experiencing. Nobody in the US is directly in harms way from Hamas or the IDF, it's difficult to justify Americans destroying stuff, threatening violence/committing violence, over something happening millions of miles away from them. We've seen nutjobs in the US, Europe, and Australia literally kill other people over this conflict that they're not actually in any danger from, other than the fact radicalisation has made some people go absolutely mental. It's normal to be disgusted by a music festival being attacked with both murder and rape, or the constant stream of images of dead kids that come out of Gaza. It's not normal to be made rabidly violent and lose all humanity in the wake of a conflict where the two belligerents are routinely committing war crimes. The international community should be pushing for a peace in a region that's constantly looking like it is at the brink of war. People shouldn't be taking sides in a fight where war crimes are the norm and egging on this conflict to keep escalating.
