  1. Last movie you watched?

'The Seven Year Itch' 8/10 'Lion' 8.5/10
  2. Credit to Sweden. Going to Italy, to defend a small lead for 90 minutes and managing it, deserves kudos. First World Cup without Italy since 1958.
  3. One thing that buggers me about the competition is: it's the called the World Cup. It should have teams from every continent. It's nonsense that the team qualifying in first place, from Oceania, should play the 5th of the Conmebol. They should have one spot, at least, secured at the main tournament, like every confederation have. Highly unfair for that confederation. As for Italy, I think it would be a good thing for them, to miss the World Cup. They need a serious wake up call. They haven't had a top squad since 2008. The last two world cups results have been embarrassing, to say the least. They need to make changes, if they want to return to the top.

'Hell or High Water' 8.5/10 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' 8/10 'Forushande (The salesman)' 7/10 'Rogue One' 3/10 'Beauty and the Beast (2017)' 2/10 'Swiss Army Man' 6/10 'Witness for the Prosecution' 9/10

I watched two of the best nominees, for last year's Best Picture Oscar: Hacksaw Ridge and Fences. Two completely different stories, but two great movies. 9/10 for both of them.
  6. Off Topic

Cheers lads. Went to work on Wednesday and had some shit situations at the office, but hey, it was still my birthday, so it was a decent day.

'Alexander Nevsky' 8/10 'Todo Sobre Mi Madre' 8/10

Come on. You can't go wrong with a Clint movie.
  9. The games against Italy and Spain were quite something. Daylight robbery. For me, the two favorites are Germany and Spain. The only two teams that can make 2 squads of high quality. Brazil have improved from the dross they had 4 years ago (it wasn't too difficult, because they had some really shit players in the last World Cup), but they just don't have those players that inspire fear in their rivals. Coutinho, Firmino, Gabriel Jesus, even Neymar are miles away from the top quality they had in the past. I'm not buying the France hype. They are more physical than technical and I expect them to go out against a more talented team than theirs. We have the problem of our center-backs being old. And you need a top defense to win a cup tournament. Belgium, Poland, Uruguay, Colombia, any Asian or African team? Nah.
  10. Good prospects for the World Cup. I think we can do a good campaign. Reaching the semis, at least. The sector that will worry Fernando Santos the most in the center of the defense. You can't have both center-backs being 34/35 years-old. The rest of the squad though, will be just fine.

'Papillon' 8/10 'She Wore a Yellow Ribbon' 8/10
  12. Important win, but I was let down by the fact that we only managed to score when Ronaldo came in. What the fuck? Anyway, Switzerland won't handle the pressure of a full Stadium of Light on Tuesday. 3-0
  13. Spain, alongside Germany, are the two big favorites to win the World Cup next year. The depth both these sides have is ridiculous.
  14. Last movie you watched?

'Kimi No Na Wa (Your name)' One of the best 3 animated movies I've seen and has become an instant favorite of mine. Highly recommend it. 10/10
