I'll be sad to not see them there, but like I said earlier in the thread - can't beat Sweden over two legs? You can't be that big a loss. Sweden deserve a lot of credit. Drew 1-1 and should of lost the game but the ref disallowed a goal for no reason from Dost, so they would of been out! Plus they lost 2-0 in Amsterdam. I don't know if Germany have ever failed to qualify for a world cup. They got banned in 1950 but not sure apart from that.
