Soft penalty but we've only got ourselves to blame for wasting opportunities to bed the game to bed before then. Mane was shit today and Klopp made a mistake taking Salah off instead of him (after the baffling lineup decision didn't pay off)

Fair play to Allardyce. Can't be easy to motivate your players while saying 'this lot, our biggest rivals, are absolutely streets ahead of us, so let's just do our best not to lose'

Henderson and Lovren still having a meltdown over a clear penalty at full time 😂. Klopp joining in now too.

Boo fucking hoo. Can't score more than one against a defence of Williams, Martina and two under 21s you deserve what you get.

"Is Liverpool's attack on a par with City?" I've heard asked all week.

Rooneys pass to Calvert-Lewin before the penalty was top class. One moment of quality in an otherwise dour performance from us but we are not only much shitter than Liverpool at the moment, it's compounded by the fact that everywhere we're weak, they're strong. Our outfield are the slowest in the league up against Liverpool's pressing game it's amazing to come out having drawn this game but then again it's always on the cards because they remain their own worst enemies.

Gomez, Robertson both very good for Liverpool. Milner's delivery is still top draw but Chamberlain and Solanke (unsurprisingly at his age and level of experience) offered absolutely nothing and Reds who murmured before kick off that they didn't like that line-up will rightly be fuming now because they should have done us 2-0 or 3-0 today.

Although I've mocked Liverpool's attack I was highly impressed by Kenny, Holgate, Williams and Pickford when he was called into action which wasn't actually that often. Martina could have been much worse, the rest put in a good shift despite barely touching the ball.

Klopp must be fucking furious. Last season he fucked up by not rotating players leading up to the Xmas period which resulted in loads of injuries and no win throughout January. He’s learned his lesson though and today would have been a gamble that paid off brilliantly resting some players had it not been for yet another fucking brain fart from one of our CB’s and Mane being a greedy cunt by shooting instead of gifting an open goal to someone else.

We really are going to pay big time for all these leads we keep blowing because of defenders that just don’t think. Fucking praying Klopp dips into the market in January to add some real quality to our CB’s.

Can't really blame Klopp though when Liverpool missed absolute sitters?

Why? We failed to win after Klopp named a weakened team and took off our best player with his first substitution. He's not entirely to blame, but he has to shoulder his share.

agree with this.

One of the biggest games of the season (regardless of where Everton are form-wise and how they've started the season) and 2 of the biggest players don't play. Can't believe he took Salah off as well. If he wanted to avoid him being tired, he shouldn't have played him on Wednesday.

I agree with this. Could have rested one of them in the week. Taking Salah off at 1-0 was strange.

Leave two of our four attackers, our best players, on the bench for the derby against a shite defence. This could have been another emphatic performance if we put the doubt in their heads. Then goes on to take off Salah instead of Solanke or Ox. Yes, Lovren was a fucking mong, and he gifted them a goal, but Klopp takes a huge part of the blame today. Needless gamble that didn't pay off, so disheartening to throw that game.

Waiting on MadLad to come in spouting shit about "crybabies" or whatever other bollocks he does in order to suck Klopps balls.

Lovren doesn’t push his opponent to give away a penalty for absolutely no reason and Mane squares the ball to present an open goal then that is one of the most comfortable, one sided Derbies you’re ever likely to see.

Totally on the named players this.
