Brilliant performance from Barça and especially in the first half.  That first period had patches of the authentic Barcelona and even though Sevilla haven't been on form it was still a very difficult game.  Great win and a tremendous goal by Luis Suárez with his overhead kick.

Suarez is a machine and can pop up with goals at any time, whether he's having his best of games or not.

Messi was class in the first half and looked sharp in nearly everything he did(yet another 2 goals also), although Iniesta was arguably the man of the match over the 90 and did a lot of things well that often go unnoticed.

The passing and the movement in the first half was vintage Barcelona and the signs are there of a side that can end the season strongly. There is still everything to play for.

As for Sevilla, it's amazing how quickly they have fallen suddenly as they were having a terrific season until the last few weeks and even looked like they could have snook in and grabbed the title off the top 2 with a bit of fortune on their side.

i would love it if Leganes got a result against Real tonight. Currently 3-2 to Madrid at half-time but they were 3-0 up...

It ain't gonna happen but this tells the story of the season so far.  They've just about done enough while others have faltered along the way for various reasons.

Iniesta was amazing in patches.  He has to play to get that form back!

No point in resting him now with what's remaining.
