  2. Studying abroad is kinda devouring my money so I've not had much on the go, plus there's still so much in Copenhagen I'm yet to do. In January I went to Weimar with my old flatmate and stayed at their flat there for a few days. Lovely town, but not much in the way of nightlife. That didn't really matter since I was there with someone with plenty of local pals and places to go. During the days we just went to museums and did some sightseeing. We also went to the remains of the concentration camp at Buchenwald, since that's just 10 minutes away by bus. It was fucking freezing the whole time, especially outside the city in the middle of the woods where the camp is. Apart from the paths, it was about shin-high snow. It gave you a miniscule hint of how it must have been for the inmates, though. In hindsight I'm glad I saw it.

  4. As a totally impartial observer, I would say that all in all it's been a successful season for Leicester. As long as they avoided relegation, which they secured with those 5 consecutive league victories after Shakespeare took the reigns, it was far more important for them to make the most of their Champions League adventure and progress as far as possible in that competition, than to finish a few places higher up in the league. They have done something which Man Utd and Chelsea haven't achieved since 2014 (3 years without a deep CL run is a long time for clubs of that size), Spurs haven't since 2011, Arsenal haven't since 2010 and Liverpool haven't since 2009, reach a Champions League quarter-final. Yes they had a easy group, but then again they've had a noticeably weaker squad and smaller wage bill than those other clubs so it all evens out. And many of those bigger clubs have messed up in easy Champions League groups over the years anyway. Even if Leicester had finished 17th this season, than relatively speaking they would still have a had a much better season as defending champions than Man Utd in 2013/2014 finishing 7th or Chelsea last season finishing 9th. And now they look on track to finish in the top 10, adding further gloss to this successful and historic season for them.

  5. Yeah it's great. Talking to my brother in law who's further ahead than me in the game we're comparing stories and finding we're overcoming challenges in completely different ways... there is literally no one way of doing any part of the game. There's ten ways to get anywhere. Ten ways to kill anything. Dozens of different philosophies to playing. You start in the middle of the map and hoi whichever direction you want from the start, including going straight to the castle to take on the end boss with only 3 hearts. It can be frustrating tho because sometimes you do something difficult or go off on a big tangent and you assume the payoff for getting to the end will be worth your while. But it could just be you took the shitty way of getting there and you get squat for it even if you used up half your arrows or potions to do it. The nintendo switch though. I'll play on my tv at night and pull out from the cradle in the morning and take it on the train... nice and compact.... you don't realise how convenient that is until you've tried it. I'll want that from every future system now.
