  1. WEEKEND RESULTS Time to summarise the weekends results @londonerlilie carries on a good run of form with Wimbledon grabbing another win at the weekend over Sutton. @CaaC (John)'s first game as a Brummie resulted in a win for him too. It's now 3 wins in 3 for Gillingham and @Lucas. @Storts leads the table with a 100% record still in tact, winning 4 out of 4 games. @Stan also made it 4 out of 4 but takes second place on goal difference. @Tommy grabbed a win with Nurnberg. @Bluewolf is still yet to win a game after another 0-0 draw - this time it's a choice between Blackpool and Leyton Orient. It was a 0-0 draw for myself and Grenoble too - and I've opted to remain with them. 0-0 was a trend this week as @Viva la FCB also got a no-score draw so can choose to remain with St Pauli or move to Greuther Furth. @RandoEFC's Barrow lost out to Stockport so it's a move for him - they face Manchester United's Under 21 side tonight. We'll cross this bridge if it happens, but if Stockport were to lose, he may be stuck in the Under 21 system for a while. @Coma moves from Dusseldorf to Paderborn after they lost 2-1 to them. @Rucksackfranzose didn't have a great first match in 3. Liga, losing out to Viktoria Koln with Saarbrucken. Gaps starting to form in some areas of the table now

  2. Italy seems to do the viewpoints right. We've taken idk 3 or 4 funiculars at this point and you're right, it's always just breathtaking from above. The sheer scale is just something to take in. There was a church I saw at the top but we didn't venture over there. Long day and ran short on time at the point we actually got to Como. We ended up taking a kind of shitty ferry from Bellagio. We didn't know at the time but it made alot of stops. Took nearly two hours to get to Como. It was beautiful to go down the lake but man was it slow and hot haha.

  3. Day three in Milan now complete. First day was kind of lazy, got in after a fairly early morning flight hung out until we got into the b&b to shower and do some laundry and nap before heading out to the San Siro for the evening and the match. Day two we spent most of it near the Duomo and what a site it was. Really amazing stuff. We did a short guided tour to get some history and went up top to the rooftops as well. Other then that finished off the evening in the canal district which was a really neat area and a great dinner. Day three we spent at Lake Como. Thank you for kicking me to go here @Rucksackfranzose and @Stan it was beautiful. Really reminded me of the Amalfi coast area with all the little quaint towns. The water was amazing to cool off in as well. Ended up spending most of our time in Bellagio but we trained into Varena first and trained out of Como. Didn't end up with allot of time in Como itself but we did make it up to the funicular for another great viewpoint. I also don't know what we would have done with another day in Milan either, this was a great day trip. Tbh so far the only place I felt like we didn't have enough time so far was Siracusa. It was just too big to cover everything worth seeing in one day. Off to Venice tomorrow for 1 day before heading to Florence after. One pic from the viewpoint in Como.

  5. Shock horror, a bullshit red card was rescinded. It's a joke a red was given in the first place, especially with VAR in use. I doubt these referees feel any sort of consequence for their incompetence, but they absolutely should be removed from next weeks games and given some sort of training. Especially the ones sat in the VAR room, no excuse for video referees to be so bad.

  6. Glad you had a great time mate! Especially taking the funicular up there. I remember having much more appreciation for the place's beauty when you can see it from above, and see how vast it is but also just how mesmerising it can be. And just be in that moment for a couple of hours as you walk through the hills. We stumbled upon a small church which was in pristine condition, almost built into one of the hillsides, but overlooking a similar view to your picture. Incredible, really. I want to go back!
