  1. Oh wow... Saarbrücken better fucking win every game from now on...

  2. MIDWEEK 4 matches in midweek with 2 wins and 2 losses. In Germany Cup action, @londonerlilie remained with Dortmund whilst @Coma lost to Nurnberg, and @nudge's Bayern fell to a shock defeat at the hands of Saarbrucken. @CaaC (John)'s run with Ipswich is over and now moves to Premier League Fulham. A few games tonight before the rest of the fixtures take place across the weekend:

  3. Almost tempted to flirt with a Saarland-Pokal loss to Herrensohr after that comment, although I expressly support your request on principle.

  4. Does anyone else think it's absolutely mad that, considering what Jews went through nearly 80 years ago, Israel has gone full circle and become a proper genocidal, Nazi-esque, ethnically-cleansing state? I know there are Jews that want themselves and Palestinians to live harmoniously, but it staggers me that Israel as a country can go through with the same actions as what some of their elder generations suffered from at the hands of another Nazi state back then?!

  5. Next draw is on Sunday. Lots of underdogs still left in it. This might be one of the best cups I've seen in a while.

  6. The Israeli government has been scum since its inception so it's not a real surprise that they're going full psycho here. They've always wanted to. They're delighted they found their excuse. What's surprising is the non-existent pushback from anyone in power. I guess that's what having the right allies does though unfortunately. You can go completely unchecked. Have zero idea how any sane minded person can suggest they're the good guys in this. Israel has done a great marketing job in creating this nonsensical idea that judging Israel is the same as judging all Jews but how far can that stupidity really stretch? There's that and then there's people just viewing brown people dying as normal so maybe that insanity has them thinking Israel are the good guys. It's either stupidity or violent bigotry. Either way, fuck Nazi Israel.

  7. Off the top of my head... - Staff contract renewals bar the important ones like chief scout, DoF etc.. but I make sure that this is after I bring in a backroom team that I'm happy with so they don't go and bring me in a load of dross - youth contracts, again, I will probably step in if we inherit a wonderkid - training, I admit I'm quite lazy on training although I have quite recently amended something on this so that I have players training with double intensity if their fitness bar is full, which has had in my opinion tangible results I think my general rule is I like to micromanage things maybe for the first month or so and just gradually ease off as things are how I like them. Bought this last night but not started a game yet. I think I'm going to take over Berliner Dynamo.

  8. @Stan I find it quite amazing how many people say something isn't interesting just because they don't like it. I'm not a fan of cricket but I'm pretty certain it's the 3rd most popular team sport in England. And I did watch the final 4 years ago and got to admit the super over was very entertaining. Also I've known people travel all over the world to watch England. I'm not to sure how old you are but loads of people took the day of in the final day of the 2005 ashes. I'm not sure if cricket is as popular now as it was back then but it certainly is a big sport in England.

  10. Thank you all! That's a result I surely didn't expect before the match. The most surprising part is the win wasn't completely undeserved the way the match went. Of corse Bayern were the dominant team, stil Saarbrücken defended well, so Bayern hadn't that many opportunities to score I felt. Am aware I'm biased, however.

  11. Long overdue. I still think England and Cook should be sacked, but demoting them would be an acceptable compromise since Howard Webb has tiny tiny balls and can't do the right thing.
