Wholeheartedly agree with this. As stated before, I’m not defending Barton, just pointing out that his experiences as a Premier League football player are far more pertinent when speaking persay from experience. However, from a tactics and analysis points of view, you don’t need to have played the game to know what you’re talking about. Souness is the prime example of a player that won everything and yet knows almost nothing about the sport.1 point

Whilst I agree with the vast majority of all points on this thread, women’s international football isn’t on the same level as championship football, let alone the Premier League and other top levels. As much of a compete cunt bellend he is, Joey Barton has far more experience of men’s elite football than Alex Scott. However, I’d still rather listen to her.1 point
