Onto the Semis! With the semi-finals tonight, let's get up to date. Coma, Lucas & Tommy v Viva la FCB & Rucksackfranzose 05/07 Spain 2 - 1 (AET) Germany QF All at Spain Stan, CaaC (John) & nudge 05/07 Portugal 0 - 1 (Pen) France QF Stays with France Pyfish 06/07 England 2 - 1 (Pen) Switzerland QF Stays with England Spain's win over Germany means @Coma, @Lucas, @Tommy, @Viva la FCB and @Rucksackfranzose are now all grouped together, and they face off against @Stan, @CaaC (John) and @nudge's France this evening. Whoever wins that one will determine who that group support in the final where they'll face off against me which will either be England or Netherlands. Coma, Lucas, Tommy, Viva la FCB & Rucksackfranzose v Stan, CaaC (John) & nudge 09/07 Spain v France SF Pyfish 10/07 Netherlands v England SF It'll either be the big group that win the Euro 2024 title, or me. In terms of the Gloryhunter - Euro 2024 title, that is currently in the hands of Coma but John and myself are also in the running. Coma will win the title if Spain win tonight and win in the final - or if England lose tomorrow. John will win the title if France win tonight and win in the final. I'll win if France and England both win tonight and then England win in the final. If England and Spain win tonight, and England win the competition, it'll go down to goal difference. All of the above permutations are probably wrong. It's early for me.3 points

For those that are interested, essentially he got off because he's a grass. Whilst i get why taking down bigger fish might get you off jail time or gain leniency on other punitive measures, I don't see how should be allowed to work as a professional referee. Let alone be a referee at a major tournament.1 point

Results - British Grand Prix Everybody cancelled each other out in qualifying this weekend, as everyone who predicted went for the increasingly meta pick of Lando Norris to take non-Verstappen pole position, only for the two Mercedes drivers to lock out the front row. No points awarded. Likewise, everyone put Norris on the top step of their podium, scoring them 2 points apiece. The somewhat surprise HAM-NOR-PIA podium saw big points thin on the ground, with only @Stan, @Tommy and @Coma nailing anyone's position exactly, in this case Oscar Piastri in 3rd place, leaving them with 7 overall for their podium picks. @RandoEFC and @MUFC had all three of the right drivers on the podium, but in the wrong places, leaving them with 6 points. @nudge, @The Palace Fan, @DeadLinesman and @OrangeKhrush all managed to bag 4 points with Norris plus one other driver in the top three but in the wrong place. @Stan, @MUFC and @nudge all hit the bullseye with this week's random driver, Zhou Guanyu, who was 18th and last out of the classified drivers. The vast majority of people correctly backed Piastri to end the weekend on top in the mini-battle between him, Russell and Perez in the Drivers' standings, apart from @Tommy and @nudge who looked in great shape for this prediction but George Russell started on pole, but it wasn't meant to be for him at his home Grand Prix. Here's what it does for the standings: The random driver and bonus predictions made the difference to @Stan this weekend, who ended up as this week's top scorer and the new clear leader of the championship thanks to these 10 points. @Tommy is the big loser this weekend out of the four primary title contenders. Those battling in the midfield cancelled each other out with a string of 9 point scores. An improved run of form has seen @MUFC work his way back into this battle instead of being cut adrift at the bottom with @Coma, who also isn't far behind the midfield pack. @The Palace Fan and @MUFC take bragging rights as Mercedes have the top score in the Constructors' table this weekend. The top four teams are all covered by 12 points. @Stan deserves credit for leading Ferrari to the 2nd-highest score this weekend in light of his team-mate's absence. We are exactly halfway through the season, and it's all to play for in both championships. Hungarian predictions will be posted tomorrow morning.1 point

England get a 100th minute equaliser after not being out their own half for the whole game then win on penalties. @Devil-Dick Willie and @Spike then bang their heads against the wall in frustration. They both die and it gets treated as suicide. The news gets to England. Spain have 226% possession in the final. They score a late own goal and England win. Southgate dedicates the win to Spike and Devil-Dick Willie1 point

It still kills me that he actually went on not-Cumtown. What a shock that podcast must have been to 15 year old 1975 fans.1 point

TABLE AFTER ROUND 5 As expected, fewer games means lower scores. But that doesn't mean players still can't make good ground in the rankings. @CaaC (John) is testament to that as he scores a very good 13 points from the 4 games, with 2 perfect scores, and that takes him up into 13th place. Next best were myself & @Redcanuck with 11, and we improve our places to 16th and 17th respectively, although realistically it's aided by a couple of non-predictors. At the top, three players are now level in the chasing pack to @Viva la FCB - @JoshBRFC, @Dan and @Beelzebub only 4 points off top spot. Slightly behind is @Michael. Don't forget, it all may change after the final once the Bonus Questions predictions are tallied up! PREDICTIONS FOR ROUND 6 are HERE - Deadline is 8pm (BST) tonight!1 point

Survival Horror game that actually keeps you on your toes till the very end Fuck open world; we have enough of that already. Players choose their stats as they start the game and do not level up once the character is built. Corridor style shooting/action system Just a knife, a shotgun and a pistol Throw in a torch just to add to the horror Torches can be used as a weapon Enemies can lurk in dark spaces that can only be lit by torches. Health is obtained very rarely so being mindful of environments and enemies is important. Two antagonists who run after you through the whole game and are relentless till both of them are dead. Heavily reliant on environmental damage to kill bosses / enemies. Time limits on levels to force tension and survival instinct kick in You gain more time by engaging the antagonists and winning the fight. Perma-Death on failure Co-Op with infect ratio gain so that if you get infected you now switch teams and start hunting your partner. Max team-size: 4 No respawn just perma-death Level does not reduce enemy count on partner conversion/death. Converted players can team up with two antagonists to chase the non-infected team through the game. Game gets slightly easier with bigger groups of protagonists. I feel like someone will make something like this, but game design is quite hell-bent on having winners and heroes that turning someone to the other side seems like it wouldn't sell.1 point
