  2. Week 3 Results Bristol City 1-1 Coventry Hibernian 2-2 Dundee Lyon 0-2 Monaco Udinese 2-1 Lazio Espanyol 0-1 Real Sociedad CF Montreal 0-5 New England LA Galaxy 2-0 Atlanta Magdeburg 2-2 Schalke Sparta Rotterdam 1-1 Feyenoord Swansea 1-1 Cardiff Round-up An unprecedented amount of draws for this week didn't deter three of the players this week - the trio of @6666, @Rucksackfranzose and @CaaC (John) all top-scoring with 17 points and vastly improving their positions, with all 3 now in the top 5. The first two are both now only 4 points behind @nawoo in 1st place. Aside from those 3, it wasn't a very good showing from the rest of us! Next best was 12 from the leader as well as @Spike, and the less said about the scores from myself, @Pyfish and @Bluebird Hewitt the better!

  3. Remarkable scoring from a few players, but the most notable would be from @Rucksackfranzose, who amassed 22 points including 3 perfect scores to fire himself into top place and be two points clear of @Storts and @Dan. The latter also scored very well, gaining 21 points to go up to 3rd, and he also achieved 3 perfect scores too. @nawoo got 19 points to go up to 4th place, whilst newbie @Pep Talk got 19 points and is immediately off the bottom and into the mix without doing much chasing. Sadly, it's at the expense of @Pyfish who missed out on predicting and falls all the way from 2nd to bottom.

  6. Considering only 4 perfect scores have been predicted in total and nobody predicted more than 1 perfect score most scores are respectable. Table after matchday 1 1) @Coma 11 points 2) @6666 9 points 2) @Michael 9 points 2) @Stan 9 points 2) @Tommy 9 points 6) @Bluewolf 8 points 6) @nawoo 8 points 6) @nudge 8 points 9) @Viva la FCB 7 points 10) Rucksackfranzose 6 points 11) @CaaC (John) 1 point

  9. The media were absolutely bastards back then especially with the national team. That's not something anyone misses.

  10. Bit harsh mate. Rando and Dr Gonzo are 2 really good posters.

  12. The last part is a good point, but I also think we could have beaten them to titles another once or twice if FSG hadn’t sat on their laurels with the teams. They rightly had the believe in Klopp to compete with the best, but at times he had one hand tied behind his back. Can’t help but feel like it was a wasted opportunity at times. I think this team has some holes that can be plugged with a couple of player incomings. If you asked ten Liverpool fans, I’d say 8/10 of them would give you the same positions that they feel we need help with.

  16. Took me a bit to post this matchday's table since I wanted to check, whether the shared matchday winners equalised or bettered the old League all time high score. They just missed to equalize it by 1 meagre point. Knowing our usual performances their score will stay this season's high score for a while, though. Matchday 3 1) Michael 16 points 1) nawoo 16 points 3) Bluewolf 13 points 4) nudge 11 points 5) Stan 10 points 6) Rucksackfranzose 6 points 6) Viva la FCB 6 points 8- CaaC(John) 5 points 8-Tommy 5 points 10) Coma 3 points Only by a single point, Bluewolf still leads the league table, though. Table after 3 matchdays 1) @Bluewolf 30 points 2) @nawoo 29 points 3) @Michael 28 points 4) @nudge 25 points 5) Rucksackfranzose 21 points 6) @Tommy 20 points 7) @Stan 19 points 8- @Viva la FCB 17 points 9) @CaaC (John) 15 points 9) @Coma 15 points

  17. I should have chose Xhaka as my star midfielder instead of Brandt... But I'm still 25th in the league, so not complaining too much

  18. Leverkusen's individual quality is insane. That being said, Gladbach looked better than I expected. I think adding Stöger and Kleindienst to the team was a huge boost. They'll do well against most other Bundesliga sides if they keep playing like today.

  19. I made just a few changes. Behold, my final team:

  20. We can argue about shades of left wing and or centrism until the cows come home. Compared to Project 2025 I frankly don't give a fuck what Kamala Harris' policy platform is. Donald Trump, for the sake of the whole Western world, cannot be President again. We just had this in the UK. After the "here's what you could have won" edition of the Labour Party under Corbyn which was "left wing" by our standards (but barely left of fucking centre as far as Europe is concerned overall), Starmer's Tory-lite Labour is a disappointment but compared to the erratic and sometimes borderline evil governance of the Conservative Party it isn't a contest.
