  3. I live in Britain and don't have any foreign family connections, so I guess that makes all my points valid by default. Or does just having any kind of social connection to any other country, or speaking any other language, devalue your opinion on British issues?

  4. Easily the best individual performance(from Messi) that I've seen in a champs league final as well. He bossed it. The Iniesta performance in 2009 was something else as well. Well both Xavi and Iniesta. That was the game that truly define those 2 for me.

  5. I’m trying to show that hes being a hypocrite. He advances a position for which he claims nobody can hold him accountable, whilst driving home a sense of artificial urgency on anyone who is opposed to No Deal. There is zero basis for detailed discussion with someone who doesn’t accept any possibility of being found wrong. All one can do is draw attention to the basic hypocrisy. What I meant by good faith is that it should pointless trying to dissect his statements when his statements aren’t designed as sincere argumentation. Liberal hang-wringing over niceties and precise argumentation has a time and a place, and a lack of sense about this has caused enough failure so far.

  6. Rees-Mogg is asking Remainers to wait 50 years for any upside to Brexit, but can't wait a few more months for an agreement. This is exactly why any notion of dealing with his arguments in good faith is utterly pointless.

  7. It’s why her election was a farce, it was an opportunistic gamble for more majority that backfired because she’s got no personality and Corbyn bribed a significant portion of the youth among other issue. Cameron’s resignation should have triggered a full election based on Brexit because the Tories needed a full Brexit cabinet, the knifing of Johnson by Gove is probably one of the most selfish acts that has damaged Brexit, he was heir apparent and could have probably rolled through the first 12 months on momentum alone. May lacks that, she’s a dithering old cow trying to please everyone and upsetting all in the process.

  9. Bullshit. Slipknot are the most full of shit bunch of guys ever to exist. I like a few of the albums, but they claim Iowa is the "heaviest album ever" (it's not) and according to them every album is "gonna be as heavy as Iowa." Play this through your headphones boys. Not a band I love but this song is a fucking banger

  12. The most perfect match I´ve ever seen a football team play was Barcelona in the 2010/11 Champions League final against United.

  13. Because my full point is about pulling people back from his grasp. Even you've now added "stagnant" and "bleak" to a subjective implication. Can't you see what is wrong? That is your language, the interpretation you want to enforce on it all instead of you know, getting a journalist to ask him properly and not a shoddy journalist who thinks getting a powerless backbench MP to resign in 1 year is actually a good use of a question. Adding a subjective implication is not a good move. Especially an ecomomic one like that given the context of economic bollocks from those associated with remain, it strengthens his hand and is tone deaf to those who may be amenable to him. Quality political arguments are about winning people over. This thread is more about getting upvotes from inside the bubble.

  15. I agree, Hoeness is such a POS. but he is correct, Ozil has been crap for years. Went downhill after his time at Werder. I kinda get both ends of this argument, but I also feel Ozil is bleeding this for as much as he can. I am sure there are many people in Germany who dont like him and the immigrants and gastarbeiters etc, it is quite fashionable in the world now to be hateful , but I get the feeling he is also using this for an excuse for his poor play and his own poor behavior. Notwithstanding the whole thing with Erdogan, Ozil has been caught partying and shagging anything and everything that moves, smokes and drinks like me, I mean, like an atheist, not a devout Muslim and barely calls his mother anymore, didnt he sue his father as well? I suspect he does not train hard anymore? Unlike Ronaldo, who is probably hitting the gym 10 hours a day- I ;ike Ozil as a player, or did when he was younger, but even in 2014, I kind of thought he was too much of a luxury player and living off his skill, I am probably being too harsh on him, but you get the feeling he has just been going through the motions for years and probably wanted to leave the NT regardless. As for Hoeness, I think he shared a cell with White Power Willhelm.

  17. No, I missed it Nice to hear about Sophia and Mick though. Sophia seems to be adapting fast, considering how many tests, practices, qualies and races the other drivers have under their belt already.
