  1. Week 30 Results Huddersfield 1-1 Brentford Atalanta 3-2 Udinese Sivasspor 0-0 Trabzonspor Torino 2-2 Juventus Osasuna 0-0 Getafe Melbourne Victory 0-3 Sydney FC Feyenoord 2-0 Fortuna Sittard Wolfsberger 1-8 Rapid Vienna Nimes 0-2 St. Etienne Sevilla 1-0 Atletico Madrid Round-Up @Pyfish does remain the leader but his lead is chopped down to just 4 points now as we head into the final phase of the season. @6666 top-scored with 17 to cut down the lead. 0-0 draws are never easy to predict but he was able to do so between Osasuna and Getafe to help him on his way. Who will come out on top at the end? Just behind the front 2 were a mixture of scores which led to just one bit of movement in the table; @Tommy overtaking me in to 5th spot. The 2nd highest score came from @CaaC (John) with 14 points, and then a few on 13 - @Tommy, @Viva la FCB and @McAzeem. A special mention also for @SchalkeUK for being the only one to guess a 2-2 draw in the Turin derby!

  2. It’s my 30th on April 15th and I’m allowed to book this private room for me and a few friends.... happy days! Booked it from midday till 10pm. Get locked in and I’m not moving! Music as loud as we want.... fridge for as many beers as we want. Local takeaways nearby Perfect timing with restrictions easing 3 days before!

  3. This week, on turnip wars! Schalke showed much more spirit than you might expect to a reinvigorated neverkusen. Only losing 2-1. I kinda wanna give them 3pts for effort, but sadly, the DFB have announced that only Bayern Munich get free wins. Apparently free draws however are good to go as Mainz got a point from nothing and nowhere! You might say I'm running this joke into the ground but for a place to have ground it has to exist. Take that sheeple Would you look at that, the big bad wolf ate the goat. How very meta. Maybe I'll have Wolfsburg as special guest in next Werewolf game I host. Augsburg beat the hoff!!!! The brown will not go down!!! Hertha and their little sister had a draw. It's literally like kissing your sister. It's no foul til you grab a tiddy. How does the pits of the potato farm look now? Schalke are worth 1 Juventus. AKA. Nothing-10pts Koln bleat on, 23pts Probably would still beat either Milan club though. Mainz have struggled clear, and are starting to believe! 25pts Easily the best red team in Italy. Hertha are also on 25pts and will be watching the ground beneath them closely... Tasmania are calling.... Bremen are BACK BABY!!!! 30pts but with a bitch of a run in, and a head to head clash with Mainz that could relegate either side. Fuck me it was almost like we were a midtable team for a second there. Whos on the menu next week for the weak? Frieburg Werder start their engines against a can of soda. Hopefully a demoralized can of soda. Hertha vs Munchiesgasbag. New manager, new dreams for Muwbidbiehdegladbak, Hertha need to fight the power. Schalke line up against Augsburg. Augsburg will be confident knowing a win means no relegation this season. FUCKING THIS IS WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT BOYSSSSSS!!! Mainz VS Koln in a relegation 6000000000 pointer! Goats vs.... whatever Mainz represent ( other than mediocrity) Winner takes all the taters

  5. cup competitions are the only time a weaker or worse team will win because no path to a final is equal, in a league it is an equal measurement of consistency over a year, the best team always wins

  7. See what I mean? It is all hype even outside of England, Dortmund are a more recognisable brand so you get people rating on name value, that is why the epl is the ‘da best in da world’ because it has the biggest name brand appeal. Just like how Dortmund has appeal over Frankfurt.p, so you get someone that doesn’t even watch the Bundesliga claiming this stuff

  8. Being a bit old school I wouldn't use dating aps for meeting people I just prefer the old fashioned meet in person at a bar/club etc but I appreciate it's a changing landscape for younger people these days... I wouldn't read too much into it @Gunnersauraus, just move on and see if you can find someone else...

  9. Yeah, I couldn't get with an ex of my mate. Discussed this with my best man a few years ago, he split with the mother of his son and she was going into the local pub and openly flirting with our friends. There is a unwritten rule you leave it alone.

  10. The problem with dating sites. They are generally talking to several other people when they are talking to you. She might have thought she was being nice by trying to be honest but I wouldn't be offended mate, you can't be the perfect guy for everyone. But you will be someone's perfect guy eventually. My advice, don't look for love on a dating site.

  12. I'm not even sure he actually exists or if he's just a figure of our collective imaginations just because we want to have more depth at CB.

  13. This is very much where he sinks or swims. Seems pretty obvious to me already he wants an overhaul. Now the question is, do they do a Leicester, persist, gradually mould the team the way he wants it and pick up, or do they do a Derby, bomb him out and keep bobbling in the Championship. If it's the latter than quite frankly I don't know why they even bothered with him in the first place.

  14. It’s just a storage Unit on an industrial estate on the outskirts of Dingle Town. And about 10 minute drive from where I live! There will be plenty of these private rooms around the country. I still have a key in to the place I used to go that much. I love playing snooker/pool, having a beer and watching sports without some cunt coming up and putting 50p down on your table saying he’s playing the winner.

  22. Essentially what about football do you hate to admit? I hate to admit that Karim Benzema is better than I think he is, because I fucking hate him and everything about him. I thought he was cruising on easy street by playing on an elite team where he can statpad against 5-0 Eibar because Ronaldo already scored four times against them. But he has been carrying Real Madrid this season and it's showing that Real Madrid made the right decision keeping him and telling Piguian to fuck off, because the latter can't even score against mentally-handicapped American defenders for David Beckham's team. I still fucking hate him and think he doesn't deserve the praise because he is a slimeball that fucks underage prostitutes and blackmails other professionals with his goon friends from the slums.

  23. Brazil is not a football powerhouse anymore. The europeans have overtaken us and it wouldn´t surprise if the US and Mexico reached and surpassed our level in the next decade or so. The new generation of english, french, spanish and portuguese players are all better than the brazilian one. We have a lot of depth and fairly good options at positions al but we lack elite, generational talent. The last truly great attacking player developed in Brazil was Neymar and this happened more than the 10 years ago.

  26. La Liga isn't in freefall, just Barcelona and Real Madrid and they are still great teams. I don't see why the Premier League is so much better than every other league. Why? Because Brighton can spend more money than Alaves? I don't see what West Ham does better than Sevilla or Tottenham and Villarreal. It's all hype. I don't see mighty Aston Villa being so much stronger than Athletic Bilbao, or Leverkusen. Nor do I think Everton is much better than Roma or Sassuolo. The only irrefutable fact is that the relegation fodder of all leagues are beyond shit. Sheffield are especially the worst.

  27. Well that's a blanket phrase if ever I saw one. There are millions of shy people out there, bit disrespectful and a major assumption to say that someone at the age of 23 shouldn't be shy. The world is made up of many different people, we're all wired up differently and getting through life at our own pace - if anything people who say they've been with millions of girls make me laugh, because IMO it just shows that you've got low standards and are incapable of pleasing someone in the long term.

  28. I'd hate to imagine what I'd be like with dating sites. Without blowing my own trumpet too much I never struggled and I was a proper little player before I met my wife. I defo would have used it for hook ups and given how obsessed with women I was I think I'd have been seeing a different one ever fucking night.

  29. Serie A football is the most boring football out of all the top 5 leagues. Napoli winning the league in 2018 would've been the greatest thing that league has seen in half a century.

  34. I think this season has really opened my eyes to how good Fabinho is in midfield. I think he and Henderson are our two most important midfielders. But I think he's probably our most important midfielder. Earlier in the season when he started filling in at CB (and looking good there), I don't think we missed him as much. But as the season's gone on and midfield depth dwindled to where we had both playing at CB rather than midfield... we saw our midfield lose so much. And when we lost both of them for a period due to injury, it coincided with some of our worst performances I've seen in YEARS. I think as long as Phillips, Kabak, Williams and Davies are healthy, Fabinho's got to be in our midfield as much as possible for the rest of the season (especially with Henderson out for the whole season). The whole midfield just plays much better with him there and it gives us much more of a chance to control any given match. He's brilliant, look at what he's done for us since joining the side, I'm lucky to be a Liverpool fan at a time where he's at the club.

  46. I'll take the points but we made an easy game very frustrating. Think we missed an opportunity to really hammer them because the difference between the sides was pretty vast. Not a fan of these games really, they are a bit of a no win situation. Effectively Sheff Utd are down, we're expected to win and win well because we score goals. Don't mean to be brutal but Sheff Utd weren't much kop. Lots of good build up play today, only for the final pass/ball to go astray. Ramsdale made some good saves in fairness to him. Baldock got away with a shocking tackle too because he got injured from it. Annoying game but looking at the bigger picture, I'm very content we're safe with 8 games to go, on 42pts and 10th in the table. If we can get to 50pts, that's a job extremely well done.
