  3. I still enjoyed it. They animated those cats surprisingly well.

  4. Do you mean the animated cat stuff? It's not the finale, just the bonus episode!

  5. Ok, finished the first Season now. Absolutely marvelous. I didn't think I was going to enjoy this, but I was intrigued by it from the beginning. Very different from what you usually see these days. The actor who plays Morpheus absolutely nailed the role though. What a great screen presence he had. I read on reddit that someone posted that in the comics, sometimes you see the Dream Lord a lot, and sometimes very little, but when he's there, HE IS there. And I think they nailed that with the actors presence. The finale was very different from the rest of the season, which confused me at first, but it turned out quite alright. But episodes 5 and 6 where my absolute favourites.

  13. Germany, Italy & Brazil are the 3 sides who seem to win regularly. Who very much believe they will be doing so. And even they capitulate spectacularly at times. It's easy to be unaware of, or forget, that Spain & France for many years repeatedly failed despite growing expectations. They were not always in the Argentina division. And that Holland or The Netherlands, were & still remain, the nation described as the best footballing nation never to win a World Cup. When England win, it stirs memories & thoughts of 1966, of 1-5 in Germany, of 4-1 vs Holland at Wembley. Of 1-0, finally, vs Argentina in 2002. All when it mattered. The Dutch 1 giving Scotland every chance. When England lose, it's all the defeats. And more, it'll never work than anything coming home. I don't think England will win this next World Cup. I think this batch of players & manager have peaked. And have done beyond all reasonable expectations. But the nation very much could win, at some stage, with their Zidane, or Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, etc generation. Any side that ever wins a World Cup, it is all about a great many things being in alignment.

  14. Oh wow, Micoud looks old. But not surprising considering I haven't seen him in probably over a decade.

  15. That's bullshit. The random draw machine got you out of the group stage. You think Southgates England get past the Uruguay and Italy you faced? He got Tunisia and Panama instead. There's your hero.

  16. Never played it in all honesty. Looks alright mind. The next remake required methinks is X-Men and developed and/or published by Dotemu, seeing as they were involved with Streets of Rage 4 and the TMNT remake.

  18. Yeah if you're gen pop its fine. Body fat% is always better though, but harder to calculate. I used to be a bit chubby while lifting (was going for max strength) so was 21% body fat (which is a bit sloppy but not rolls kinda fat) and because I also carry those extra kilos of muscle too BMI had me pushing the obese category

  19. You can say that all you fucking like, and I do believe that plays a big part in it. Obviously when you get that early 1-0 win over Tsunisia and people are chanting it's coming home it's very tongue in cheek. But it gets fucking serious and seriously obnoxious once you past the group stage.

  20. Well Scotland deservedly get the win that they needed and go top of the group as it finishes Scotland 2-1 Ireland. The first half was pretty balanced, but Scotland were much the better side in the 2nd half as they got into their stride and took the lead from being behind. Ireland took the lead in the first half through a snap shot from Egan, but goals from Hendry and Christie sealed the win for Scotland. Christie, McGinn, McGregor, Hickey and Hendry were excellent, while Fraser and Greg Taylor did really well when they came on as substitutes. Scotland will be pleased with another deserved win, they had 61% possession, 14 shots and 9 corners against their Irish rivals. Their high pressing game does leave them vulnerable to dangerous counter attacks, as we saw from Ireland a couple of times. But this style of play allows Scotland to dominate and control most of the play. Their passing and attacking movement was excellent on many occasions today. McGinn won his 50th cap today and he will be delighted that Scotland have now won their 3rd match in a row. Scotland move top of the group with this win on 12 points, while Ukraine are 2nd on 10 points. Scotland will now travel to Krakow in Poland where they will face Ukraine in a key match which will decide who wins the group. A win or a draw will be enough for Scotland to win the group, while the Ukrainians have to win if they want to be victorious in this group and finish in 1st place.

  21. If it were any other company, I'd probably say yeah licensing tech is a big hurdle, but this is Rockstar. They have their own engine, so I highly doubt it's to do with that. What it might have some calling out to is how much airtime songs and ads get in the game which they won't get with singularity traffic in-game vs having a bunch of folks playing multiplayer around the expansive maps. i do think they are a bit like Naughty Dog when it comes to open-world, they have the ability to tell a great story but with this recent incident they'll want a cash grab and even though everyone is complaining now you know this is a day one big seller no matter what they spew out and that just means they'll cut corners and push something out to generate revenue vs trying to build something concrete. You really can't rewind the clock here considering they have no idea whether the hack actually had data associated with story elements, etc. it's way more costlier to start again vs finish this.

  22. It's coming home really isn't deep at all, I wasn't even sure it was self deprecating (the actual lyrics within the song are) but the main bit, is it just not the same as any song the fans sing? I highly doubt for example Plymouth Argyle fans truly, hand on heart believe that they are the greatest team the world has ever seen.

  24. Just saw the score. What a farce. Imagine liking a sport where a final is so one sided it may as well have been Geelong versus Deadlines Man.

  26. Meh. I've been consistent on my thoughts here since the last world cup. England have one of the top 8 or so best teams in the world on paper. Southgate, during both tournaments organized them into an Athletico Madrid style 'hard to beat low block with a proven goal scorer up front and we're good at set pieces' style team. Then they only really beat teams you'd expect them to beat. The England fans were in raptures because it was getting results but rarely stopped to look at why and how. You got dumped out of both tournaments the minute you played a better side. This world cup will be no different, it'll just likely happen sooner. Can't always play Sweden, Ukraine, Columbia and Denmark in quarter finals and semi finals. Sooner or later it'll be France or Spain.
