  4. Hertha GmbH & Co KGaA's equity capital has shrunken from 107.5mio to 29.5 mio Euros during their last business year. Something about this figures tells me Windhorst is either forced to hold his shares or has to sell them with a massive loss. @Coma according to German media Robert Kraft, who already owns New England Patriots and New England Revolution in the NFL and MLS respectively, is interested in buying them. Can you tell us something about him? Would he be as an entertaining investor as Windhorst for the neutral?

  5. I have very mixed feelings as I'm scared of him picking up an injury while there, but all things considered, he deserves it and it would probably mean a lot to him, so I do hope it happens...

  6. Jurgen Klopp on what Liverpool means to him: ⠀ ⠀ "When I was younger, I knew the Beatles came from here and they have a great football club. The Scousers are very friendly, very open, very warm.⠀ ⠀ "My wife and my sons are much more involved in society as I am and they are over the moon about how warm and helpful the people are. Since I was a kid, I loved football but I always knew there were more important things in life.⠀ ⠀ "The only problem is during the 90 minutes I never felt it - it was the most important thing in life. When you are a part, a member, a fan, of the right club, you are really sucked in. I had that already in slightly different ways in Mainz and Dortmund.⠀ ⠀ "Here Liverpool is the heart of football. Liverpool is music and football. It's good because we all work enough. Life must be as well some distraction as well from our day duties and as much as I can help with that, is as much as I want to help with that.⠀ ⠀ "Who would have thought I would get any key to a city! When I first found out, I didn't understand it in the first place. I'm not 100% sure we have these things in Germany so someone needed to explain it to me.⠀ ⠀ "Piece by piece I understood it and I felt a thought of pride I've never felt before, it was really strange. But I tell you I will take it and I will keep it, forever, in my mind and my heart."⠀ ⠀ 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿.

  11. Actually haven't read it before you posted this! But yeah, Adobe has turned into a proper shitty company. Shifting to subscription-based products in general was something that pushed me away from them a while ago already, so I can't say I'm surprised...

  16. I think this is brilliant: https://apnews.com/article/120afb291f27d866d8263f91cddee5b1 Germany will making plastics producers pay for cleanups - which is smart because it gives an economic incentive for less of the ridiculous amount of pollution plastics cause. I think this should honestly be extended to a lot of other products. There’s a lot of cheaply made crap that’s got one use, or made for a short lifespan. I’d rather pay more and get something that lasts a while than some piece of shit I’ll have to replace in no time. Too many manufacturers trying to make a quick cash grab.

  19. I think it's a bit strange but... that budget Ibanez that I've pimped out has quickly become my second favourite, or maybe even my actual favourite guitar. I'm really pleased it was given to me, even though it was given to me in barely playable shape. It's incredibly well made for something that I suspect wasn't that expensive 20 odd years ago when it was made (according to a serial # decoder, it was made in December 2002) - lovely neck (same specs on the Wizard II neck as on my JEM) & the Seymour Duncans I put in it are possibly my favourite pickups I've used in a guitar. But maybe it's because I've also been fucking around in D standard on this guitar and I'd not really played much in D standard. Very cool tuning - not just for metal imo - just generally a cool tuning for the guitar. But also... excellent for metal & I've been having a lot of fun learning Kreator, Death, & Exodus songs and having them not sound weirdly sharp! But I think it's a bit crazy how good a fairly cheap guitar can get if you give it some TLC (and swap out some pickups if you don't like the way the originals sound). And to think I was a bit annoyed when that trem I bought to put in it didn't actually fit nicely in the cavity. Ended up working out okay, as I chucked that in my Jackson... and that ended up being a nice upgrade for that guitar as well! It's probably what I'll use when I get around to recording some clips from the PodGo. Sorry @Mel81x for still not doing that - I've had a few issues with the computer I use for recording and I've not really gotten around to fixing them. I've bought another computer to replace it because I really can't be arsed with it anymore - but my wife says I can't open it until Christmas... so eventually I'll get around to recording some shit with my Pod, I'm just going to be waiting until I've got that new computer (and more fucking spare time). The last month and a half or so at work has been absolute hell for me... so I've been very appreciative of the time I've managed to make for myself this week to get to fuck around on my guitar. Looking forward to getting home and playing tonight.
