  1. That makes two of us! But his Wikipedia entry is pretty interesting Apparently, he's the son of one the US famous zoologists and educational children's TV shows hosts, had trials at Bayern, trained with La Masia academy and then played for Barcelona's US academy, before joining some university and then going to Germany to play for SSV Ulm's U19 last season. He is joining our reserves, we'll have to see if he makes it to the first team in the future...

  2. Promoted first season as champions. Would've been hard to go up if we hadn't won the league though - would've needed to have beaten 2nd place in the southern league over two legs and then won away at the team who finished 3rd bottom of the 2nd tier. Was largely spearheaded by a striker I had on loan from Finland called Tamminen. We're a bit chaotic but we score loads. I have a very good midfield for my level albeit a very old one too. I'm aiming to buy almost exclusively under 25 players - infact my entire scouting focus has been on 15-25 year olds of which I'll likely just sign ones on frees from the rest of Scandinavia plus maybe Latvia and Lithuania, but I will grow this to worldwide eventually when I have the money. Doesn't help our case that my best two players in my opinion (Tamminen and Trige) are both on loan and both not likely to be back here next season. Been given a healthy wage budget for next season. Treble what it is this season and I've already managed to secure a decent young Latvian midfielder on a free for a similar wage to what I've been paying out to players this season, so I think we'll get a tidy squad together and with that I expect us to survive, but we'll see. I'm not keeping the goals out as well as I was on 22.

  5. It worked! Oh nvm, that was against Croatia. I only saw a facebook post that Davies scored the first ever goal for Canada at a WC.

  8. Everything worked out pretty well overall I would say. Took a little bit of time by boat but relatively no hitches! Just in time to watch the Canada Belgium match Big thanks again to @Tommyn without him this would not have been a thing! I would bet theres a very small amount of people with these kits on this side of continent! It looks even better in person, I love the colour and badging. Also a bit special to finally get a Davies Bayern kit. I was fortunate enough he played in MLS for my local team (Vancouver Whitecaps) for a few seasons . I was able to see him break in and take the league over and then watch his growth with Bayern and now even the Canadian National team. Anyways I'm super stoked thanks again tommy my man!

  9. Blame King Gustavus Adolphus of Sweeden for that. The ship was built on the orders of the King of Sweden Gustavus Adolphus as part of the military expansion he initiated in a war with Poland-Lithuania (1621–1629). She was constructed at the navy yard in Stockholm under a contract with private entrepreneurs in 1626–1627 and armed primarily with bronze cannons cast in Stockholm specifically for the ship. Richly decorated as a symbol of the king's ambitions for Sweden and himself, upon completion she was one of the most powerfully armed vessels in the world. However, Vasa was dangerously unstable, with too much weight in the upper structure of the hull. Despite this lack of stability, she was ordered to sea and foundered only a few minutes after encountering a wind stronger than a breeze. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vasa_(ship)

  10. Fucking nightmare. Axle has come of the car while I was driving it. Car is stuck in the middle of the road. If I was on the motorway I'd be dead
