Nothing glamorous lol. Me and my mum are full-time carers for my grandma (her mum). She been in and out of hospital due to stones blocking the pipe where food runs through. The main issue is that she's 90 with dementia but that was an additional issue. But it's been a week and all is good. She's back on her feet walking all day like an 18 year old which is just unreal lol. That's the run I've not worked for a couple of years. Hope you're good buddy.

Some real estate magnet uprooted large parts of mangroves for a housing society here few years ago. All the fancy houses were flooded lol

The 2004 tsunami in Sri Lanka showed the importance of mangroves ecosystem pretty clearly, too - take two villages on the Southern Coast for comparison, one of them surrounded by 200ha of dense, healthy mangroves, the other one by severely damaged, degraded mangroves. The casualties in the first one were the lowest in all Sri Lanka, only 2. The second one had around 6000 people killed...

I was in London Bridge Station the other day and there was an automated cleaning robot floor sweep. It was creepily futuristic. Moving about slowly, occasionally telling people to get out of the way.

Well, in about 2 days' time it will be 5 years since I had a cancer stick in my gob and I only got a reminder when it came up as a message on my calendar here on my laptop. I just checked and from what I could see is the cheapest packet of 20 cigs today is £10.15, to think if I was still smoking today with my normal 20 a day that would be around £70 odds a week or £280 a month All this stopping was down to a collapsed lung caused by a blister which the doc who operated on my lung said was caused by a bit of hot ash making its way down to my lung when smoking.

Just decided to log in to see if my account was still active. But yeah, there are a lot of cities trying to get remote workers to move there. I have seen some cities offering free moving services and $10k to move there and stay for 3-5 years at least.
