  2. What freedoms? You can still drive your car through the city, just you need a permit to do so to help restrict traffic into the city centre. You're acting like Cheshire/Manchester has the same logistics/old-fashioned layout as Oxford. Manchester has the capacity to deal with the vehicle traffic, therefore your comparison is moot. My hunch is you've never been to Oxford and therefore don't actually know what the transport is like in the city centre. And neither has the god-awful Aussie prick in that video you linked above.

  3. Seems you can drive out to a ring road and into another section yeah. Oxford council had to release this statement yesterday to debunk a lot of the fake news pumped out on social media by alt right and far right donkeys. When you read it you see just how badly these muppets online are crippling discourse in our society with their inability to comprehend anything or know how to know. Here's a council that wants to make buses run smoother and people around the world are talking about it, what the fuck. https://www.oxford.gov.uk/news/article/2332/joint_statement_from_oxfordshire_county_council_and_oxford_city_council_on_oxford_s_traffic_filters

  6. Because you're getting offended about something that isn't as big a deal as you make it out to be. Will I still be able to get to where I need to? Yes. Will it inconvenience me a lot? No. Can I still get what I need, when I need it? Yes. Will it help reduce CAR traffic in the town centre? Yes. Is it a sign of the world ending? No. Are you over-reacting about something just to suit your agenda? Yes.

  12. Twitter deciding not to put weight behind a story that was already public is censorship? It was a fucking news article you dolt? Also, Musks takeover has proved there were no 'shadowbannings' of right wing influencers and that there was actually a right wing bias behind twitters algo because they were the big moneymaker tweets.

  15. Do you live in the US? Asking, because I seem to remember you wouldn't and if that's the case it's a bit precipitate to declare, whether Republicans and Democrats may or may not agree on the urgency of an issue, in my opinion. Even, if you do, you can only speak for the small part of that massive country, you live in and that part of published opinion you consumed. Edit: on a side note although you didn't mention it, personally I'd say a party having supported a former president, who's now demanding to be reinstalled against ther constitution having the majority in the HOR is a much bigger threat to undermine the constituional democracy, in my opinion., although I'm talking from outside the US.

  16. As old mate big teddy K said in industrial society and its future 'whenever mankind makes some advancement, we never take a backward step or cease its use, no matter how harmful that advancement is' Nukes are a great example, should have been a 1 and done the minute they saw its power. However it applies perfectly to many things, and children like you can't accept that mistakes have been made in the past that we now understand the ramifications of and need to be fixed. What part of a car is freedom? Driving a car is the single most regulated activity a person can do. Who can or can't drive, at what speed and route is all pre determined. It's not really any different to a great public transport system when you think about it, bar the fact that everyone needs their own little carbon belcher. I also love that you deflect away from the fact that you intentionally misled everyone about the Oxford system and its scope. You're a liar, a loon and total fucking imbecile.
