  1. I've been there twice and both times it's been hairy. Stand needs pulling down.

  3. After @Tommy's recent posts, I reinstalled Stardew Valley and started a new save couple of days ago...and now I am properly hooked again. Gee, thanks Tommy... Really enjoying it, actually even more than I did last time - I think they introduced some updates since the last time I played it, and now the whole gameplay feels even more seamless. 10 hours in so far.

  4. Bread with spreadable cheese (or butter, can't tell for sure) and coffee with cream and sugar + water, looks absolutely ok to me. It's not as if you need a breakfast of 1000 kcal or more while you're spending your time in bed all day and recovering from whatever caused the admission to the hospital anyway... Or maybe it's just the hospital's way to tell them that they're fat

  5. If you do go to Headingley, I'd definitely recommend Harrogate. Got that Victorian buildings vibe about it. Some lovely places to eat, drink or visit. York is the best but Harrogate is up there too. Equally, if you did Old Trafford, Chester is nice. You won't be short of options anyway. I just hope you have a nice time whilst over here because I think the Ashes will end badly for you this time Or rather, I hope (If we continue to play this exciting brand under Stokesy)

  6. Started Yakuza: Like a Dragon and I'm liking it so far, even though the shift from brawler to RPG does feel weird, but it's still good fun.

  7. He apparently went to London for a knee specialist and has returned to the club since. That was approx 2 weeks ago and Rodgers said initially said it's a 7-10 day return, then before last night's game in the pre-match press conference said it's a 'day by day' monitoring. That's another gripe of mine with Rodgers. Countless times he's said a player's injury isn't that bad, or will return shortly, only for it to somehow turn into a lengthy lay-off. I get things can change with physio and doctor assessments etc, and each players' recovery is different, but it happens too often to be a coincidence. The cynic in me says this Maddison injury isn't all it's cracked up to be and it's some kind of smoke-screen to make him unavailable for transfer. I doubt it, though. As I can't see Maddison being satisfied with that. And it actually hinders the squad when we desperately need him. I believe there to be some kind of injury he probably sustained while away in Qatar, but who knows how bad it is...

  11. I know I blasted Goretzka in another thread for his bad hair but I recently read that protesting at the Qatar Cup was his brain-child and that he was sour with his teammates for not taking a stand. I guess there was some dressing room drama between he, Neuer, and Kimmich and he got shouted down. This might have been from BILD or another questionable source, but if it was real then good for him. Much respect.

  13. Ironically the good thing about Lords is that it's the only ground in the England (or UK) where you can take in your own alcohol (up to 1L I think).

  14. I remember our daughter saying a pet Gecko can live up to 15-20 years, one of the reasons she put her remaining 2 rats out for adoption as the other 3 pet rats she had passed away at nearly 2 years old and that broke wee Kaiden's heart.
