  7. We will still need a scattering of first team players in both games but we will defo be able to rest a large number of players now.

  8. I know how much you loved the games, you will love the series. At times they even take exact dialogues. Only two episodes but its fantastic so far. Neil Drunkmann is a credited director so you see why.

  11. Mate my tv is over 8 years old. Fire sticks don't even work on it.

  12. Preferred Season 2 to Season 1 but the plot armour the characters have is pretty insane.

  13. Never seen it but can't believe it was made in 2001. Will Smith playing Ali does seem a perfect fit though

  14. Not yet, wouldn't presume DFB agree on paying compensation to every ref, who follows Gräfe's example after being retired for this rule. Therefore they'll alter it in any case. Whether they'll remove the age limit or try to change it in a way that isn't legally contestable is up in the stars at this point, in my opinion.

  18. If it happens it will be bittersweet. I'm still in mourning, still grappling with how to emotionally deal with not getting our tickets back. It's incredibly galling to see the moments you dreamed of sharing with your father happening without you. I'll always remember 18 years ago when we couldn't go to the FA Cup semi final at the Millenium Stadium because my dad had to work, he said then don't worry we'll go to the next one. The next one never came and now it never will. It really tears me up. I'm trying to deal with the grief by telling myself we had our era, this one isn't mine, it belongs to someone else now and to try and accept that. Sometimes my thoughts go towards questioning whether it would be easier emotionally to give up football all together and no doubt I will occasionally question whether to watch the final or not. I'm sure I will if we make it, but the mind is trying to cope.

  20. We are spending big this summer and with the 10th overall net spend in the Premier League and being the top earners in world football finally surpassing Real Madrid for the top spot we can afford too, our treasure chest is quite large and we have players to sell too like Bernardo & maybe Cancelo that would cover Bellingham's transfer fee on it's own, next season is going to be exciting, we looking at Leao, Saka, Grvardiol and maybe a left back that can defend lol, the team needs a refresh and we are going to get it Ederson Lewis - Dias - Gvardiol - Cancelo De Bruyne - Rodrigo - Bellingham Foden - Halaand - Leao or Saka

  21. Same. Bags of energy and heart and passion, but nowhere near consistent enough to be classed as one of the best centre-mids in the league. Not saying he's rubbish by any means, but he's just alright.

  25. That was chuffin' cold. So so game. Got better in the Second Half as a contest. Newcastle should have been 1-0 up at HT but finishing was wasteful. They do love a balloon over the bar. Adam Armstrong was a real menace when he came on for Saints. Pope battering Djenepo was probably a blessing in disguise. Thought Saints shaded it Second Half but didn't get a goal to show for the pressure. Promising situations in the final third, mainly coming down the right with Walker-Peters and Armstrong, but let down at the wrong moments. Pope's save from Adams was a big turning point. They badly need a quality Number 9 though. Newcastle won the game by having that extra quality off the bench. Isak is far too good to be back up to Callum Wilson, looked silky when he came on, and just having Saint-Maximin on draws players to him and creates space for others. They were two wise subs at a time when Southampton were on top. Just shifted momentum back Newcastle's way. Referee can give himself a pat on the back for being absolutely fucking dreadful. The game got needlessly niggly thanks to him so take a bow.

  26. Yep, still extremely dumb from Ahameda. Getting booked for moaning, and being rightfully (according to the rules) booked again for climbing the fence 5 minutes later. If I were his employer he'd get a hefty fine for that. That said climbing the fence after a goal shouldn't be a bookable offense, in my opinion.

  27. The early series you could clearly see talented individuals but the last 5 or 6 years you've had coffee shop owners and brownie making businesses. It's been a shit show in truth. That's not to totally belittle what these people have achieved but they were never really businesses you could really expand into huge ventures. It's almost felt like he has felt he has has had to pick people on who he likes rather than taking their business truly serious.

  31. Never really got scared by the masked/grotesque looking characters but more the one's that appeared normal but were 'unpredictable' in behaviour. For me, the character that unsettled me first time I saw Misery was Annie Wilkes, a role which Kathy Bates absolutely nailed and why she got an Oscar for it. The fact this character is bipolar really puts you on edge for the whole film because one minute she appears fairly normal, the next, she flips and goes bat-shit crazy. She is so inconsistsnt in behaviour that you don't know how she is going to react next and that is what puts me most on edge.

  32. Funny how quick Biden's own DOJ managed to launch an investigation into this after he turned himself in, compared to the case of many boxes in that Florida resort from the last president that were not turned in and needed the FBI to go get them - Merrick Garland probably hated when Obama nominated him to be on the Supreme Court and likely cheered when republicans decided not to give him a chance.
