  2. Find out your caloric intake. Aim to hit 300-500 calories below that for fat loss, whilst keeping your protein high for muscle building. (0.8 grams of protein per KG of body weight). Start weighing yourself every day for progress, and because your weight fluctuates throughout the week, find the average weight of that week. Then subtract that weeks average weight to the following week's average weight. You'll get an idea of how much true fat you are losing. (Have a cheat meal once every other week) Find a weight lifting program that works for you, with the mindset of having your next workout better than the previous (IE using more weight or more reps). Then, its just consistency.
  3. The UK government will only allow the sale through a special license that shows the transaction won't go into Roman's pocket.
  4. Exercise is merely 30% of it. Your diet is 70%. What are your goals exactly? Fat loss or lowering your body fat whilst gaining muscle?
  5. Our success was planted from the money of our owner. I agree in the notion there should be zero sympathy when a club takes on risks. The only ones that should be considered are the staff that could potentially be laid off by this. Far as I'm concerned, Roman needs to sell ASAP. The longer he waits, the more it jeapordises the club as a whole. There will be a time and a place to give our thanks to him, but it certainly shouldn't be during a football match when there is a silence for those impacted by the Ukraine/Russian conflict. The Todd Boehly and Hansjorg Wyss Consortium. Boehly's track record does seem to suggest he could be a good owner for the club. This piece is a good read and a couple of interviews I've seen him conduct he does come across as very passionate, well spoken and knowledgeable. Matt Law has pushed his consortium as a very credible candidate throughout the last week or two and still is pushing them as one which still want to buy the club, and given he's usually one of the more reliable or 'in the know' journalists covering the club, you would have to assume he is going to be a front runner to take over.
  6. Boehly-Wyss consortium still in talks with Abramovich, while other parties rule themselves out one-by-one. Chelsea operating on a 'business as usual' basis with Marina Granovskaia still in charge and staff emails being sent out to carry on: https://t.co/ylnZ0sTalM #CFC — Nizaar Kinsella (@NizaarKinsella) March 4, 2022
  7. Reports Bruce Buck and Marina Granovskaia are expected to leave Chelsea as soon as the sale of the club is complete .
  8. I'd agree if the bulk of media articles you're referencing to weren't challenged in court and lost. Again, it's difficult to determine what is factual and what isn't so I ask you, what do you know is 100% factual? By all means you can reserve the right to be cynical, but I will always question those with desperate one sided arguments where it is evident they can't give a non biased opinion on this. You’re easily swayed by any negative articles (regardless if they end up being true or not) and you instantly challenge anything positive. For a very big and public “PR stunt” announced as a personal statement it would contradict the whole purpose of what he’s trying to achieve if he is bullshitting. For him to make that claim in big public personal statement - which is very rare from him - it defeats the purpose of it all being for PR if he backs out of that claim. Ah so we've transitioned from "He doesn't love Chelsea" to "He didn't love you from the start". Continuing to prove my point. I've never seen any owner in world football more involved than Roman Abramovich. We consider not only his investment to the club, but to the youth academy and women's team, both of which are now the best in the country. Consider the fact he's attended every home game and Cup Final before his VISA issues, that's a bizarre commitment to be so involved considering the club is only just a front. Grow up mate. Way to take a little dig completely over the top.
  9. I laughed at your comment because you've been more passionate about Roman these past several days than I have ever seen you supporting Liverpool in the 10 years I've been on this forum. Genuinely. You'll not find one Chelsea supporter that isn't going to appreciate what Roman did for the club. To question his commitment to the club isn't just downright stupid, its Phil's bald head. You’ve quoted media speculation as fact and tried to hold the fact he said he didn’t want to sell the club against him - when it’s still clear he’d prefer not to sell the club. Trying to paint a narrative of serial lies in one week when there’s no real examples to point to this week. It’s an exaggeration on your point to try and shit all over his statement because you hold a clear grudge to the man - most of which is probably been formed on lies and Chelsea’s success under him. What do you know about Roman that is actually 100% fact btw? I’m not pretending Roman is perfect. I’m sure there’s plenty of stuff I don’t know about him that I’m glad I don’t. I also know there’s plenty of stuff written in the media about him that’s not true because it riles up rival football fans looking for blood.
  10. Official: https://www.chelseafc.com/en/news/2022/03/02/statement-from-roman-abramovich?utm_source=tw&utm_medium=orgsoc&utm_campaign=none I would like to address the speculation in media over the past few days in relation to my ownership of Chelsea FC. As I have stated before, I have always taken decisions with the Club’s best interest at heart. In the current situation, I have therefore taken the decision to sell the Club, as I believe this is in the best interest of the Club, the fans, the employees, as well as the Club’s sponsors and partners. The sale of the Club will not be fast-tracked but will follow due process. I will not be asking for any loans to be repaid. This has never been about business nor money for me, but about pure passion for the game and Club. Moreover, I have instructed my team to set up a charitable foundation where all net proceeds from the sale will be donated. The foundation will be for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine. This includes providing critical funds towards the urgent and immediate needs of victims, as well as supporting the long-term work of recovery. Please know that this has been an incredibly difficult decision to make, and it pains me to part with the Club in this manner. However, I do believe this is in the best interest of the Club. I hope that I will be able to visit Stamford Bridge one last time to say goodbye to all of you in person. It has been a privilege of a lifetime to be part of Chelsea FC and I am proud of all our joint achievements. Chelsea Football Club and its supporters will always be in my heart. Thank you, Roman
  11. #Exclusive: We have new details on Abramovich's offer to sell @ChelseaFC to Hansjörg Wyss. Behind the Swiss billionaire is a consortium from America, currently consisting of 3 businessmen. They are looking into taking over Chelsea for 2 billion pounds.https://t.co/c5g9QepRoV — Nicola Imfeld (@nicola_imfeld) March 2, 2022
  12. Looking back, this was a fantastic period. Lot of media/public criticism that this rivalry was toxic (Mourinho vs Pep), but I genuinely loved, and I mean loved this Barca v Real era.
  13. Looks like FIFA and UEFA have suspended all Russian football competitions.
  14. Ukrainian film director and producer Alexander Rodnyansky also confirmed Abramovich's involvement, insisting the Chelsea owner was the only person to respond to calls for help. Rodnyansky has claimed that representatives from Ukraine's government have expressed gratitude for Abramovich's attempts at help. "I can confirm that the Ukrainian side have been trying to find someone in Russia willing to help them in finding a peaceful resolution," said Rodnyansky. They are connected to Roman Abramovich through the Jewish community and reached out to him for help. "Roman Abramovich has been trying to mobilize support for a peaceful resolution ever since. Although Roman Abramovich's influence is limited, he is the only one who responded and taken it upon himself to try. "If this will have an impact or not, I don't know, but I am in contact with Zelensky's staff myself, and know that they are grateful for his genuine effors."
  15. Roman Abramovich has dramatically relinquished the running of Chelsea in an attempt to distance the club from the controversy surrounding him as a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and calls for him to be sanctioned. Abramovich will remain as Chelsea’s owner and, providing he is not sanctioned, can still invest money into the club, but he has handed the running and decision making to the trustees of the club's charitable foundation, which is headed by Bruce Buck. In his statement to announce the change, Abramovich made no mention of the war in Ukraine and did not condemn the actions of Russia president Vladimir Putin, which could lead to more calls for him to face sanctions. Other than Buck, the trustees include manager of Chelsea women, Emma Hayes, chief executive ofKick It Out Piara Power, along with Paul Ramos,John Devine and Sir Hugh Robertson. Chelsea remain insistent that the club is not and will not be for sale, but the move is likely toencourage interested groups and individuals to test Abramovich’s resolve with takeover bids. Football decisions, such as transfers, player contracts and the future of head coach Thomas Tuchel will be the responsibility of director Marina Granovskaia and technical and performance advisor Petr Cech. Neither Granovskaia nor Cech are among the trustees. Chelsea insist that Abramovich’s decision to step back has not been made in an attempt to avoid sanctions, but instead to protect the club at a time when it was in danger of suffering reputational and strategic damage. In a statement, Abramovich said: "During my nearly 20-year ownership of Chelsea FC, I have always viewed my role as a custodian of the club, whose job it is ensuring that we are as successful as we can be today, as well as build for the future, while also playing a positive role in our communities. I have always taken decisions with the club’s best interest at heart. I remain committed to these values. That is why I am today giving trustees of Chelsea’s charitable Foundation the stewardship and care of Chelsea FC. "I believe that currently they are in the best position to look after the interests of the club, players, staff, and fans."

  17. It isn’t as if no one would care, it’s more like the media wouldn’t care. Ask anyone about a war going on in an African country, more than most wouldn’t have the slightest idea. The media get to pick and choose what gets the most coverage, in virtually all aspects of life. Especially if a story fits that media’s left wing or right wing agenda.
  18. Was it? Thought the Ukrainian president confirmed it?
  19. The Ghost of Kyiv. What a fucking legend.
  20. Unlike KDB, he didn't really show any stand out potential during his time with us. Even at Roma, albeit a good player during his stint, there was always the Serie A tax to consider. You have to credit his massive growth to elite levels to Klopp really.
  21. Guess Drogba will just have to live with being the most successful African Premier League player.
  22. Perfect hattrick too....
