Again, it depends on the site. There are sites, successful ones, whos design is to find your soul mate. Of course there are times when they are seeing 3 to 4 other people, as should you until you find the right one.

That's you though. I know plenty of people who's life styles are either pretty hectic and don't have the time to go out and socialise and build relationships. It's a convenient way for those who are also very shy normally and wouldn't really approach women/men they find attractive at the gym, bar, market, library, etc.

I know plenty of people that are successfully together and married through dating sites. Although these sites actually take into consideration qualities you have and matches it with others. Once you find your matches, if you find someone attractive and they also find you attractive, that unlocks the ability to actually message them and such. A lot more efficient than tinder, grinder, POF, or w/e where the design has a sole purpose of a quick fuck.
