Think you need to give your head a wobble if you genuinely believe beating Sheffield United, Palace, Leeds, and Newcastle whilst failing to beat anyone in the Top 10, warranted us being labeled title contenders. Far as I'm concerned there's two scenarios on whether or not you can really see if a manager is capable of getting out of a bad rut.
1. We are generating poor results but you can clearly see the football we want to play and it looks sustainable.
2. We are generating poor results and you can't see what the manager wants in the team nor any evidence of progression.
