Our next four games are: Barnsley in the League Cup West Brom away. Palace at home. Saints away. These matches will ultimately determine, in my opinion, how the rest of the season will pan out and whether or not Lampard has fundamentally learned anything. All four of these games are perfect for Lampard to reintroduce the possession based, attacking football we saw last season before the restart.
