Talk about making something out of nothing. He's virtually praised Klopp and how they've operated as a club. The only thing he mentions is spending, and how in order to compete, you need to spend. Blimey, must be the American in me talking.
Ignoring how the funds were generated, Liverpool broke the record for a GK and CB at the time. It's the very point I was making how I wouldn't be surprised to see Liverpool fall out of the top 4 in the coming years if they don't continue to invest as compared to their rivals. Not unless they expect Klopp to work miracles every season with transfers or expect more Coutinho situations.
Even Arsenal have spent as much as us before this summer.
Premier league proven is the biggest horse shit
I think if that is the case, it wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility to see you lot back down to 8th-6th in the coming years when your starting XI age. Not unless your owners want to compete with the likes of us, City, and United. It's the way football is moving forward, not unless you expect Klopp to work miracles and find hidden gems at lower costs season after season.
Two back to back seasons with 97 + points and a Champions League title in the span of 2 years. Just how much more do they have in the tank?
It’s safe to question the hunger of their players they’ve so heavily relied on. Particularly the front three.
The biggest downfall for any reigning champions is failing to strengthen the following season. Chelsea 05 & 06, United 07-09, City 18 & 19, each summer they strengthened after their title win.
Imo, Liverpool fans have every right to feel worried if the window ends and no one comes in. Particularly given how much their rivals have strengthened.
1. Finish comfortably in the Top 4.
2. Night and day improvement in killing games off.
3. Better defensive structure and defending set pieces.
4. Better in game management.
5. Win a domestic trophy.
All coming from a Twitter member who constantly bashes Chelsea and says he got the figures from his dad who apparently works for us. . If there was any hint of truth to that, his father would be out of a job considering the confidentially clause in players contracts.
Bonuses are guesswork but hold some element of truth. The only one I would call reliable is what Bild reported for Werner, given they covered every aspect of it. I would imagine including bonuses, Havertz is close to Werner's figure of £260-290
Reports saying he may feature. Waiting on confirmation from Lampard on Friday.
I mean, you can probably forgive Greenwood given he is 18, no excuses for Foden however.
2 year older, has a missus and a 2 year old child? Proper Twat.
Somewhere, @DeadLinesman is sipping on his tea.
Leicester are extremely close to completing a double swoop for Atalanta wing backs Castagne and Gosens. Castagne is complete and Gosen is "very close" €42m reportedly the fee for them both. #lcfc (La Repubblica)
Binged both seasons of Cobra Kai over the weekend. Enjoyed it other than a few pet peeves.
The main being Johnny stuck in the 1980's. You're telling me this bloke couldn't move on in life after losing a teenage Karate tournament he's already won twice?
There was a before and after photo that was allegedly a 4 month difference, but I just recently realised the media lied and the photo was actually 1.5 years apart.
Shocker there.
