  3. The main man behind the entire referendum peddles that shite, if you really believe that most of that vote wasn't swayed by an anti-immigration and anti-Muslim agenda then more fool you. The average voter wasn't thinking about the politics in Brussels, the average voter couldn't even give you a law that they wanted control back of. It was "we give the EU this, let's give it to the NHS" (which has been hilariously backpeddled), "Turkey will join the EU and flood Europe with Muslims and terrorists", "we don't have control over our borders" (we do). I know the remain campaign fearmongered also as I am still waiting for the end of civilisation as we know, but there was very little reasoning in that referendum and it was entirely down to playing on people's emotions regarding immigration, Islam and general pro-nationalist agendas. You've only got to go back to Farage getting the push for the referendum on the debate in which he falsely claimed that foreign AIDS sufferers were health tourists. That essentially summed the whole thing up.

And he didn't announce it on here... I've got a couple of testicle based jokes in there in fairness
  5. I mean we voted out because of the NHS bus and Muslims from Turkey...

Fair play I thought you were being sarcastic. But the ending really isn't the same seeing as one is an empty womb to from start to finish and the other is pregnancy and a whole load of trauma.

They end differently, contraception generally ends in not getting pregnant to begin with and is used to enjoy sex. No one thinks it's OK I'll just have an abortion, a cracking end to a night of sex. Comparing them is moronic.

You've got a problem with everything so I'm gunna leave you to argue with yourself but contraception is buying a condom before sex, having an abortion isn't.

Hopefully it's repealed, I feel like most of Ireland is behind it regardless of the releigiois nut jobs. The way abortion has been treated as an argument for "pro-life" is ridiculous, as if it's going to be used as a form of contraception. Leave people to make their own choices about their own bodies.
  11. Really? Lookman scored 5 in 11 in Germany, Sancho looks promising but obviously still a talent...Sessegnon looks like he could be following the Dele Alli route, Sterling's just hit 20+ goals in a season, Wink I don't know lots about...Foden looks talented? As England fans we've seen bleak already (the last ten years or so), I'd say that looks quite promising.

Come on Josh no need to brown nose him I couldn't really predict as I've never seen Warrington fight but Selby is good so this ain't a bad win. Big fight against Frampton to come up. Selby said a lot before the fight will be interesting to see the interviews
  13. Forgot about Rashford I wonder if we're going to see a "golden generation" or if there'll be more of the same. Everton have done well in the transfer market because Lookman, Calvert-Lewin and Holgate aren't academy products. Pretty sure I read on twitter that the one and only @Storts doesn't rate Tom Davies....or he's just jealous of his wavy beach hair
  14. Potential England line up in 2-4 years anyone? I don't know a lot about our u21s/u20s/u17s etc these days which is a shame as I could name most of our previous u21 sides when they weren't winning anything , so may have left out some bigger younger names. But I'm just looking at this tournament as well and seeing who Southgate will keep around for the next two tournaments to act as the spine. Kane/Lookman Sancho/Sessegnon - Alli - Sterling/Gray Dier/Henderson - Foden/Winks Shaw/?? - Oxford/Egbo - Stones/??? - Alexander-Arnold/??? Pickford

There were two almost simultaneous BBC News alerts on the mobile app earlier, one was that the former Russian spy was discharged from hospital and the other was that Prince Phillip will walk Meghan Markle down the aisle. Fucking priorities people.

Haye has made some proper money from Bellew, didn't see the fight but highlights show Bellew knocked him down a couple of times before his leg went? I definitely wouldn't have paid for this fight mind, even when he was fighting on Dave you could tell he didn't have the David Haye of old in him.

If Haye boxes rather than trying to sweep his head off then I think he'll win, but he'll need to win convincingly to go for a world title and I don't think he has that in him.

    Rugby League

Yeah I've thought about Skolars but it's a bit of a trek for me. Yeah Wests are a Kiwi side in Acton and I think surprise a few teams/competitions because of the quality of Kiwis on 2-year breaks coming over, but seem to have a large upheaval as people leave the country. You're not wrong about Hammersmith, I saw a picture of their kit and it's essentially Australia's. From what I can gather Richmond and London Chargers seem to be the only local based rather than Aussie/Kiwi based side in the south west Londonish area. Chargers being a merger of South London Storm and West London Sharks who both played at the same level. I wonder what path for progression, if any, is available for these clubs in terms of support from the RFL. All the talk about sides from Toronto and New York and I'm sure they'll be looking at London too...would they go with a completely new side or would they look to push on someone like Brixton Bulls who're fairly entrenched in the local community with youth teams, open age and women's sides. Not London but I also read that Oxford and the Gloucestershire All Golds are trying to merge to create a Bristol based side, would be interesting to see how that pans out.

    Rugby League

@Smiley Culture I know you like doing amateur football, have you been to any of the amateur London rugby league sides? I've been having a butchers as I'm probably going to pop down to a couple once I've finished my travels and there seem to be more sides in or around west London than I thought. Wests Warriors, London Chargers and Richmond. I believe the only east London side are Newham Dockers? And then it's around Essex or Kent? Brixton's a bit too far and even though the Broncos are on my doorstep I'm sure I've explained my feelings for them before.
