  1. I think at this point you guys are being naive to not know why West don't condemn Israel so I'll address the elephant in the room. It's simple Israel is a settler project of West in a very key region of the world and to maintain it they will have to pay some price for it from time to time even in the loss of their own citizens.

That said I think it's not completely accurate to say West is backing Israel, it's Protestant West. Catholic majority countries like Spain, Ireland, Italy etc have been very critical of Israel but they don't really matter tbh so it doesn't show in material effect.

I was having this discussion with someone actually that Catholics and Sunnis together make the majority of the world but they are totally useless at the moment. not one state that has their majority really matters globally. You could make some excuse for France, Turkey, Saudi but I don't really buy it. And Saudis aren't really Sunni to begin with, they have their own thing.

It's the Protestant (US-UK) and Shia (Iran) that are the most active global players despite being numerically a minority. Fascinating

There is this image created of the 'West' that everything good about it material progress, law and order etc is due to some gigantic team effort where everyone from US to Australia works in shifts.

But when it comes to bad things the blame is individualized as one off 'mistakes'. Hitler, Leopold in Belgium etc they did not come out of isolation. These are systematic things which are again being seen in Gaza.

  3. Visuals of famine now coming out of Gaza.

It's now also time the term fundamentalist West or something like that is also used. The unsheltering US support for Israel and things like Iraq war before that are not just for strictly geopolitical reasons or for natural resources etc it goes beyond that. Western power circles are the same colonial fundamentalist that they were centuries ago. That EU guy even saying rest of the world is a jungle and Europe is a garden a while back speaks that they deep down still hold the ideas of racial superiority.

  4. Pantheon is a project by MIT university to rank the most notable people in human history based on how much traffic the Wikipedia profile of the personality gets. In order to get in the database the person's Wiki page must be in at least 15 different language versions of Wikipedia then it applies a complex mathematical equation to assign an HPI (historical popularity index) to rank personalities.

lol Shoaib Akhtar and Sehwag give me funny and sad vibes.

Both talented players with bling in their prime but after retirement they have become trolls who don't really have any proper job, doing anything to make money. It's kinda sad like seeing someone from highschool who was really popular but isn't doing great in life now.

Are you in shape, have you been conscripted, and have india crossed the border with a trillion dothraki screamers?

    – Relatively better

    – I think conscription will not be needed here for a while bcz we have a huge population

    – Definitely it's on the cards. A second major front has opened in the world since then. Current Indian govt is right now in the phase of internal conquest once it will be done they will go for external expansion i.e the first country Nazis conquest was Germany

This kind of propaganda hitting the UK is pretty concerning

r/NewIran - Just in case you’re wondering who and what is behind the EU rallies, here is a tip. These were handed out in London today. Khmanei said this on Oct 3rd, just a few days before the attack on Israel.

Khamenei's probably so pleased he's got people in the west calling him the leader of the Muslim world though.

Which is so far from reality. IR already has a negative reputation in any Middle Eastern countries for the proxy wars and they spoiled the recent support they were getting after Oct 7 by striking countries like Pakistan which they never really had any hostilities with.

Misbah-Ul-Haq did not average like 60 as captain and lead Pakistan to test number 1 ranking following the spot betting scandal to not be on this list you POS.

A contemporary great but not an all-time top 10. He became permanent in the team in his 30s and was in and out of the team before his peak.

The spot fixing scandal was actually his breakthrough. He told in the WC show that after he was dropped from that infamous 2010 England tour his mom asked him what are you planning to do now ? he was 36 and getting dropped at this stage of career means it's over.

But the scandal happened and he got a phone call from the Chairman to get back into the squad and become captain.

  9. Western countries cut aid of UN agency providing relief work in Gaza over Israeli 'allegation' its 12 memebers were involved with Hamas. If you were wondering why a lot of countries were indifferent to Ukraine, not that they hate Ukraine or like Russia.

  10. Ukraine is now fucked as a country for eons regardless of how this ends. Even Afghanistan is making a recovery because it's now firmly a no man's land left alone by everyone after consecutive global powers strategically failed there.

Ukraine will never be left alone.

  11. 100% on point about Baluchistan being a difficult terrain.

Even the British never tried to bring those parts fully under their control bcz they are sparsely populated with hostile terrain. If British with an Empire didn't bother about it then expecting cash strapped countries like Pak Iran to invest as much resources in those parts as their main population hubs is not realistic.
