    Of course mate. It will be my pleasure. I've got the lot on Sky and was paying well over £100/month. Got into it with them just before Christmas and cancelled my subscription. Week before it was all to be turned off they called and offered to deduct 60% off of the monthly amount for nine months, which I took. As long as you're happy to take the risk that they'll call your bluff [but it the risk seems low from others I know who have done similar] then tell them you are cancelling. The cancellation team will call to offer you something to stay.

  6. Catching up on these trailers that have been posted and really like the look of Three Billboards.
  7. Finished Family by Michael Calvin which I thought was a really good insight into Millwall. Worth a read. Also finished The Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi [thanks for the recommendation @nudge]. Really enjoyed it and will be adding him to my reading list now. Was quite humorous without becoming a comedy and reminded me of L. Ron Hubbard's Mission Earth books. Next up is The Nowhere Men by Michael Calvin.

    Yeah, not to be confused with Mykonos just off of the Portsmouth coast.
  9. He is a million miles away from being in a position to run an elite professional youth development programme. I'd have raised an eyebrow if I'd heard he was going to head one at a League Two club or lower, but to head a Premier League club's Cat 1 Academy with no experience even in coaching full time is a farce.
  10. That is an embarrassment. Again just another example of how you don't need to know what you're doing in football, you just need to know the right people. No real experience in developing players, let alone youth players, and they give him the top job at a Cat 1 Academy. Joke.

    Is it THE hand?
  12. He's shown some glimpses but not enough. I'm hoping that Zabaleta can bring him on a bit as I still believe he has the potenial to be a real decent player.
  13. To be fair I think you dodged a bullet with Byram.
  14. Dear Everton Football Club. Please can you stop purchasing players that West Ham United Football Club are showing an interest in. Between you [and possibly Leicester] we won't end up with any of the players that we want which is just not fair. If you are interested in more purchases though then please feel free to take some of the shit, sorry, I obviously meant top class players that we are trying to shove out of the door. Sorry again, I meant that we would dearly love to keep but just wouldn't be too dissapointed in seeing gone [we would be happy to pay their travel expenses to medical and signing]. My sincerest thanks in advance. Ron

    You think it's bad now. Just wait until you get married.
  16. Watching some great sets at Glastonbury which you can see here, but one of my favourites is this one;
  17. So no transfer fee increase or sell on clause? Why?
  18. I hate shit like that. I would be all for a rule that says that not only can a club stop a player's money immediately but that any transfer as a result is increased to twice the value, and to include a 50% sell on clause.
  19. I think Dembele will be found out if he comes to Prem. I don't think he'll become a top player. Definitely not in my opinion a like for like swap for Lukaku.
  20. Same as almost any job in pro football. I know somebody who knows somebody. Football is the worst industry in the world that I know for it. It's not what you know but who you know. Goes a long way to explaining why generally it is run so poorly [not talking about me though, obviously. I was probably the best bit of business the club has done ].
  21. These two sales had nothing to do with length of contracts the club could offer or whether they could be afforded. They were made because of FFP.
