  1. Talksport lets itself down. It's a shame because they do raise some very decent debates every now and then, but then you hear the way they go on at times and it's so obvious they're talking shit for the sake of it. I actually quite warmed to Durham, I think every now and then he absolutely nails it, but he goes and ruins it. Calling us a disgrace for Tuesday because we brought on Ulloa and went direct yet if we hadn't have done it he'd be saying why didn't we change our tactics. It's a piece of piss really isn't it when you can see both sides of the coin. Just emphasise on one and watch the calls roll in.
  2. Fair enough. Was intrigued to know what would constitute failure for him as much as anything. I agree, as it happens. It could well be a purple patch, but I just think there are so many similarities in the way we're playing to how we were playing last year as a side that won the league that it isn't quite that simple. I feel safe with him in charge. I feel almost like all along he was possibly the one behind a lot of it. If Vardy or Mahrez leave it won't be down to him, it will be down to having better offers. If Shakespeare can't keep them here, no-one will. They all like him. I've got it on very good authority they liked him a lot more than Ranieri all along. Recruitment however I will give you. The jury is out there. When Walsh was here I had automatic faith in anyone we signed, since him it's gone pear shaped, although kudos to whoever pulled Ndidi out of the bag. For me he's earned an opportunity. If we don't give it to him we better have something very decent lined up our sleeve.

Really is amazing what photoshop can do these days.
  4. Teso's just bitter because ever since he's supported Man Utd (probably since they signed Di Maria) they've been outdone by some nobodies. It's natural. Ranieri's how I expected him. Not giving too much away. Disagree with some of the things he said, for example Sevilla away being a turning point - we were lucky that wasn't about 7-1. But his relationship with the fans, by and large, will never be tainted. I'm glad we sacked him. Because not only would it have been bad for us, it would've been a massive blot on what happened last year. No-one on the planet can convince me we were doing anything but going down under him this season. I'm glad that it was never allowed to happen.

Didn't win. Fuck sake. BTTS was an absolute banker for our game. Said it to my mate when he asked me. It was in within 4 minutes

Had a tripe weekend up until Saturday night where I went on a lovely run and got myself up to £128, probably put me in about £50 profit for the weekend. On a Chilean game now. Addict.
  7. Quite right in suing the media for that. Hope he's successful.
  8. Which goes back to exactly what I said. He was just as good last year, if not better.
  9. Calling someone "fickle" is more often than not absolutely stupid. I cannot word how much I dislike these twats who go "you weren't saying that a couple of weeks ago" when you praise your team for winning after rightly criticising them for being shit two weeks ago.
  10. Number 5 is just really weird and embarrassing.
  11. N'Golo Kante was better last season than this season, but gets more plaudits this season because of who he plays for. /bitterness
  12. I do think he'd be wasted at someone like Real Madrid. Real Madrid won't be pining for bargains. They can buy just about who they want. I don't think they'd really benefit from his expertise as much as someone like Roma or Sevilla would. It's a shame he's leaving them. I've followed what's gone on there for a while. It's a model I'd love us to adopt and I've said that a while - which makes it all the madder for me personally what happened a fortnight ago.

Obviously Chile miss a penalty and it ends 3-1. I jinx it every time I post it.

It's a great bet. Argentina are all over the place at the minute and Bolivia's very notoriously tough to go away to. Factor in them missing Messi I'm not at all surprised Bolivia won, 5/2 as well. Waiting on another goal in Chile v Venezuela (currently 3-1) for £29. Be very surprised if it doesn't come in.

Super pair of shouts those. Absolutely livid at myself for leaving Bolivia.

Pocketed another £300 this week in winnings on in play overs. They are my favourite bet by a mile. I'm exaggerating as it isn't like I've had some losses on the way there, but you need one decent run on it and you can win hundreds. I'll explain my method when I can be arsed. I think we're a decent price this weekend at evens. I'm confident we'll win.
  17. That's doable. To be honest I ought to have started saving properly a while ago but never mind. I'm quite lucky to be in the situation I'm in but I do need to get out of here really. Renting doesn't appeal to me. Would only ever do that temporarily. It's dead money.
  18. I'm still living with my Mum and Stepdad but I intend to really look into moving out in the next couple of years. I'm starting saving money when we get knocked out of the Champions League. How much approximately do you actually need to get out initially?
  19. It's very hard to compare really. You do have a bigger fanbase but for example, no South American club has the capability to top the achievement of being champions of Europe. There's a glass ceiling which totally distorts any fair comparison.
  20. I'm not having a pop at all. I think it's hard enough to compare clubs in different countries within a continent, let alone clubs from different ones.
  21. That isn't that unpopular really. On that subject I do think Kane and Alli, relative to their club form, have both been disappointments for England.
  22. There's absolutely no way you can compare the size of Universitario and Leicester really.
