  1. Is anyone still playing Elder Scrolls Online? I haven't played in a year or so as I've been catching up on other games but was thinking about getting back into it.
  2. @Viva la FCB surely that rumor about Ramos isn't true? Why would Bayern want an aging, egotistical CB? They just got rid of Boateng.
  3. According to BVB Buzz it sounds like Dortmund have accepted a bid around 90m for Sancho. It was inevitable really. Also hearing that Delaney might be on the market as well. Also updated to say that Terzic has joined the technical staff and won't be part of the coaching staff any longer. Terzic says that he doesn't want to step on any toes with Rose. Class act and I'm glad that he stayed. Sounds like Kehl and Terzic will team-up to take over Zorc's role next year.
  4. Weird Tales was very popular and the one I'm most familiar with. I discovered writers like Lovecraft, Robert E. Howard, and Fritz Leiber from that publication.
  5. It was released in the media that he "failed a medical" at Leeds last summer but the scoop I heard is that he has a bad attitude and Bielsa told him to piss off. Funny that he has all that talent but can't seem to find a home.
  6. Pulp comic books were all the rage back in the 1930's-1940's USA. I remember when I got into sci-fi and fantasy that I started collecting used copies that I found in old flea markets. Still have a few lying around in the basement now.
  7. Man Utd have upped offer to 85m. I'd say Sancho will be leaving soon.
  8. Latest news is that Man Utd have offered 78m for Sancho but Zorc wants 95m guaranteed. Never thought I'd see Sancho stick around for another season but I'm starting to wonder now. Still lots of time in the summer window and it looks like Dortmund might be lining up Malen as a replacement just in case.
  9. Wait for Lewandowski and Müller to retire.
  10. And the fact that they already sponsor Stuttgart.
  11. I received word from my employer that effective June 2 that those vaccinated no longer have to wear masks in the workplace. That coincides with the state of Ohio removing the mask mandate. Individual businesses may decide to continue to enforce masks but it is no longer required by the government. I have had my vaccination since mid-April but I know that the rollout in the USA has been much quicker than in other places.

Anyone listen to new Gojira album? So far my favorite track is Into the Storm. The drumming on that song is unreal.
  13. Really a shame watching Baumann flounder. I remember watching him play and admiring his presence on the pitch. Now his legacy is being tarnished by the failures in management.
  14. Any of those leaving out of contract or just likely to be sold? Don't think Pavlenka will have a hard time finding a new club. I'm always torn between keeping good players for a promotion push but then I remember these same got you relegated!
  15. I thought he just joined NY Red Bulls in MLS a few months ago. Is he gone already?
  16. You could be right on that last point. Honestly the Rose appointment seemed like a good idea for all of 10 minutes. Gladbach have been pure garbage this year considering the unreal amount of talent in that squad, and it's not just been since the announcement. They should've been top 4 again this year.
  17. Personally I don't think that a half of a season is enough to warrant him getting a full-time job anywhere. The sample size is just not big enough and coaching hires today are entirely too knee-jerk. Yes, he was in charge when Dortmund turned their season around but let's be real... this squad should have been challenging for the title this year so it's not like he made them from nothing. Put me in charge of Man City and I'd still get them in the top 2 in England . If he wanted a head coaching role then I think clubs in the Zweite should be looking at him but I'd hesitate to say that he's earned a job in a top league anywhere. Yes, it's going to be difficult to go back to being an assistant under Rose but it seems he's made his choice for now. It wouldn't surprise me though if he left the club sometime in the next year. He's had a taste of management and he's not going to be content for long, regardless of the "boyhood club" debate.
  18. I would think that an English club would be even further outside his comfort zone. He did spend some time at Wet Sham but I doubt he would leave the country now.
  19. Terzic turned down the Eintracht job yesterday. I honestly thought he'd go. Probably a smart move in the long run. I won't dispute that he's done a fantastic job as an interim manager but he knows Dortmund so well. Going to a big club like Frankfurt would be jumping into the frying pan and he'd have no support structure to fall back on there.
  20. Seemed to be frozen out at Mainz ever since Svensson took over. Scored a wonder goal earlier this season but otherwise blah this year.
  21. For the fans in the US, ESPN has just announced broadcasting rights for La Liga Primera and Segunda for the next several years. Every Primera league match will be shown on ESPN+. Great news for those of us who could give a fuck less about watching Barcelona and the Madrids every week. Starts in August 2021.
  22. I get your point, but the same could be said for the Bremen team. If he couldn't turn around Hertha (with loads of top dollar players) then I'm not sure he could turn around Bremen either. They're both equally in the scheiße at the moment.
  23. What's the obsession with Labbadia? He was awful at Hertha. Just curious.
