  1. Why when I read the title of the thread did I think of Adam Johnson?
  2. Ronnie Moran 'boot room legend' has died today age 83. Sad day for Liverpool FC. RIP Ronnie!!
  3. Well he's made about 6-7 appearances for us and played at every level bar the senior team for Wales, so as I said, they'll have seen what he's about. A big part of capping him sooner rather than later though will obviously be about tying him to Wales because he's a big talent who's tipped to have a big future.
  4. Not sure what you're getting at mate? He's 17 so he'd not have many caps regardless of his nationality.
  5. Bit of both really I'd imagine. Wales definitely want to cap him to tie him down as he's a great talent but he's come through the Wales under 17's & under 19's so they'll have a decent idea of what he can do.
  6. How do you explain Hazard subbing himself off 3 times when absolutely nothing was wrong with him at all? That's a losers attitude and shows a weak mentality and is one of the reasons why he'll never be one of the worlds best players.
  7. He often played Aubameyang in the same position he plays Mane and he often played Lewindowski across the front 3 and at number 10. Again, all interchanging at any given time. In fact I think Klopp even had a spat with one of them regarding being played out of position? Agree we need a 20-30 goal a season striker though (we've actually got one but he's broken and Klopp doesn't like him much).
  8. Agree with that but again I don't think that's how Klopp ever sets up. He likes the 3 forwards to be fluid and interchangeable and that's where my biggest criticism of Klopp comes in... He doesn't seem to have a plan B and in this league, sometimes you need a plan B.
  9. It could be that but I think it's more tactical to be honest. Against the bigger clubs who try to play against us Klopp's tactics are perfect. They try and play football whilst we press them to death, win the ball high up, then counter at speed. Against the lower clubs though who don't have the ball even half as much it's more difficult to employ Klopps tactics. They don't try and play football, in fact they are happy to let us have it. When they do have the ball they hit it long time and time again which misses out our midfield which consequently kills our pressing game.
  10. A way off winning anything? We've been to 5 finals, a semi final and come within a whisker of winning the league within the last 5 years? Hiring Klopp, expanding the stadium and upgrading/merging the training facilities and academy is laying the foundations to be competitive.
  11. The club is growing off the pitch and I'd hazard a guess that the plan is for progression on the pitch will follow. Unless of course hiring Klopp was a ploy to sell shirts in India?
  12. As with any owners, they are innit to make a mint, not for the love of the club. As far as owners go I'd say we could do a lot worse, we've certainly progressed and been dragged from the dark ages under them! They bought us for around £300m and now (last time I looked) we were worth about £1.7B. They'll now be looking to sell and we (Liverpool fans) are just hoping the buyers are ok. One thing is for sure though... whoever does take over next will obviously be seriously rich, otherwise they wouldn't be able to afford us in the first place. Last I heard it was an Arab Prince looking to buy a share
  13. How are we stagnating First we hired one of the most sought after managers in the world, then last summer we expanded Anfield and this summer we are upgrading and merging our training facilities? Thats not stagnation, that's progress!
  14. Basically the same as us mate but I'd say we are probably a few years ahead of you lot at this stage. Certainly exciting times for the blue shite though!
  15. It isn't as significant as it used to be for sure. Someone above said we should by aiming for a stadium the size of Uniteds which is around 75k, but if we get to 60k... Is 15k less such a detriment in the grand scheme of things? I don't think so, especially when you factor in our commercial deals and general merchandise sales compared to clubs in and around us like Chelsea, City, Arsenal & Spurs. As said already, there's only a handful of clubs with a bigger fan base than ours in the world which more than makes up for 15 thousand seats
  16. 55k? In the Liverpool thread it was suggested that Liverpool FC need more than a 60k seater stadium or risk being left behind, so where does a 55k stadium leave Everton?
  17. I think we'll be under new ownership within 3 years, there's rumours rumbling already. I agree with most of what you say btw, the only thing you're wrong about is Annie Rd being premium tickets. The extra 4'800 seats were/are actually going out to the general public at standard prices which is a great thing as that means mainly scousers which would improve the atmosphere no end.
  18. I really can't see them expanding Anfield to then move location to be fair.
  19. Yes they added tiers but they had much more surrounding space. Even when you build upwards, it still comes outwards. It's not possible at Anfield because the surrounding area is too compact. It's all been looked into mate.
