  1. The worry in the Liverpool region for me is that this local lockdown will see the anti mask and 'scamdemic' loons shout louder than those who simply want proper financial support for businesses and individuals affected and a proper test and trace system at local level to help the region get out of tier 3. Clearly there needs to be some form of restrictions to help ease the pressure on the local hospitals but questions need to be asked how any area of this country has ended up in this position after the government have spent £12bn on its test and trace system. Now because of mis-information and a lack of explanation on things you get people not adhering to the mask wearing and calling it all a hoax.
  2. Of course the new restrictions are going to allow Wetherspoon's to stay open
  3. Nottingham will surely be facing tier 3 restrictions when they make the announcement later
  4. Liverpool have confirmed the signing of a keeper!
  5. I'd love to know the infection rates from pubs and restaurants. Is there any evidence that they are causing the increase?
  6. Shouldn't have loaned out Karius. He's definitely better than Adrian and playing behind closed doors would have been a good time to get him back in the side
  7. Yep. Really concerned going to Goodison with Adrian in goal. It certainly won't be one of the usual Goodison 0-0s in two weeks times
  8. Neco Williams blacked out his Twitter because of some fans abusing him after last night. After playing in a game Liverpool won 7-2. Honestly what is wrong with some people
  9. Really annoying that he keeps saying NHS test and trace
  10. It's been adjusted to three points for a win for them. There is an argument that teams were more happy to settle for a draw back then though
  11. Very different in the way the deals have been done in comparison to what Liverpool would have had to do to get Werner for example. Liverpool were never paying the amount up front that Leipzig will have wanted for Werner and Chelsea ended up paying. Klopp always said that the club could sign if the right player was available and the right deal could be done. A small initial outlay in the first 12 months for both Thiago and Jota obviously fit the bill.
  12. Apart from the fact you can't meet another household. I never understand why they delay these things so much either. These restrictions come into force on Tuesday ffs
  13. Tighter restrictions for Lancashire, Merseyside and Warrington now
  14. There's obviously long term interest there from Liverpool but I've not seen this latest one reported by any of the usual reliable journos. Having said that, they only break it when it's about to happen these days! It was only on Wednesday James Pearce was saying Liverpool wouldn't be signing Thiago without Wijnaldum leaving Now the opposite is being reported. I'd defo take him though. Still very raw, his end product needs work as we saw at Anfield last season when he missed one or two sitters if I'm not mistaken? Only 22 and plenty for Klopp to work with
  15. Doubt it. Not even officially announced yet and there's a cut off point for registering him
