  1. I'm not sure what's happened to Elliott and Brewster from this squad, they were originally named in the 23 man squad along with Jones and Williams and it was said they'll be travelling after the Villa game. But Jones and Williams are named here so assume they're not playing the League Cup game at all. Maybe this is just the players travelling today, I don't know. On the point of first team players being left behind, I'm not sure how well it would have gone down if you told say, Milner, Lallana and Shaqiri 'we're going to go and become World champions but you're staying at home to play a League Cup quarter final'. I agree that it's potentially not going to be good for the young players development though, I said as much when the situation became clear. I thought there would have been another solution that didn't involve us playing two games in less than 24 hours
  2. Liverpool have confirmed the squad for Qatar. Lovren is not travelling but Wijnaldum does.
  3. I think those maps with the age brackets are from 2017. But yeah, they're probably still pretty accurate today
  4. The remainiacs in the party fucked it. Look at what Labour did on the back of campaigning to honour the result of the referendum. It should have been something to build on. Corbyn's 'staying neutral' was trying to make the best of a bad situation but even that came too late
  5. He was very good at Anfield and had spells in the game on Tuesday. I don't know enough about him to judge him based off just those two games but I'm sure Klopp and his team will have done their homework if they do go for him. At £7m you can't really go wrong though

@JOSHBRFC your arselicking of Joshua and Hearn is embarrassing
  8. Haha, as if the one who is always all high and mighty is telling us he believes that
  9. In the BBC debate the other night Johnson was just allowed to swerve giving an answer when Corbyn mentioned his previous racist remarks

They mentioned during the fight on the stream I watched it on last night (DAZN I think) that his team wanted him back in the gym in July but he didn't actually get back into it until September

I agree with this. I'm a big fan of Fury but Joshua deserves credit for last night. Did what was needed, there was no point in getting dragged into a toe to toe shoot out like last time.
  13. I've just read that Brewster, Elliott, Jones and Williams will play v Villa and fly out after that game.
  14. Everyone seen our squad for Qatar? We're not leaving anyone behind. From the League Cup side against Arsenal, only Kelleher and Van Den Berg have been left out I think.
  15. The polls are a load of shite generally aren't they? Off the top of my head, certainly in the last couple of elections and the referendum. Designed to influence the voters more than anything
  16. I agree, he actually started last season pretty well though. His early performances were promising then he got injured and has been unable to keep himself fit for any period since. He had a decent run towards the end last season and got injured again. Even without Fabinho's injury, I was looking at this run of fixtures as one where he could really make an impression and start maybe 75% of these games in the run up to Christmas. I feel like if it doesn't happen for him in this run, it probably never will
  17. He's not perfect, no politician ever will be. What I can't get my head around is we have a straight choice between him and Johnson and people from working class backgrounds will go for Johnson. People are heavily influenced by the media there's no doubt about that
  18. There's the option go 4-2-3-1 like we did at times last season now Shaqiri is fit. Just hope Shaqiri, Keita and Chamberlain stay fit because without Fabinho I think we need one of them in there most games. No one's going to replace Fabinho like for like but there's still plenty of options.
  19. Could have missed a much worse period of the season though. Fixtures until Boxing Day aren't too bad.
  20. There's loads who would disagree with that, including myself. Fans definitely celebrate goals differently
