  1. I worry about Lovren in the City game. Doesn't bother me against pretty much anyone else but Aguero loves playing against him.
  2. There's a chance Fabinho misses Villa because of his yellow card situation, so if he does, I think he'll probably play v Genk. I reckon the two full backs play and one gets rested whenever we have the match won. I think you could be right about one of the front three being rested. There's no need for wholesale changes, Tuesday-Sunday isn't too bad really. Might be different if it was Wednesday-Saturday.

Let's be honest though, Joshua didn't just lose to 'a deadly shot' (as if it was a lucky punch). He got beat up and lost convincingly
  7. I seen something that was posted by the MEN that is trying to claim this. it's based on xG conceded.

Pretty much everyone who watched Wilder-Fury had Fury winning you clown
  9. First thing Danny Mills has ever got right?
  10. Pogba is clearly their most creative player. Not hard looking at the other names though. I was merely pointing out that using stats like that without any detail is pointless. A chance created is just the last pass before a shot. It doesn't tell us anything about the quality of the chance that has been created
  11. These chances created stats are pointless without any context. Define 'chance created'. Is it a five yard pass to Rashford who's thirty yards out, who then twats it high over the bar into the Stretford End? If so, I'm assuming there will be plenty of them

Sounds like Errol Spence is in a bad way World champion boxer Errol Spence Jr is in critical condition after being pulled from his Ferrari after a high-speed car crash. The welterweight king is said to have not worn a seatbelt but emerged from his vehicle despite it being “flipped multiple times” in the Dallas area. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/general/boxing/errol-spence-car-crash-ferrari-dallas-police-world-champion-a9150441.html
  13. @RandoEFCDigne is the obvious success. He's been the most consistent player from what I've seen over the last year. I'm not having Mina. Positionally whenever I've seen him he's all over the place. Gomes is wildly inconsistent from what I've seen. He was the worst player on the pitch by some distance when I watched Everton away at Aston Villa. But then he obviously has a performance in him like the one at Anfield last season. I guess my original point was that Brands was being over praised for getting good deals, as if he's unearthed a few unknown gems.when all he's really done is signed players from the benches of Barcelona, Arsenal and Juventus for big money. Anyway I'll leave it there
  14. You seem very hung up on the 'god like status' part of my first post. It was nothing more than a throw away comment. I've gone on to say however that there seems to be very little criticism of him and that focusing on the players he's got rid of while the players he's brought in are either failures or the jury is still out on is something I find strange. My thoughts aren't formed off only a banner, you seem to be focusing on that part of my post too much as well! it was just an example. I've come to the conclusion that blues have bigged Brands up a bit too much from seeing stuff online, podcasts and speaking to mates
  15. I think I made some reasonable points on why the jury should still be out on him but you seemed to ignore them and just picked up on my example of the banner
  16. It was just an example of you lot overrating him. He can seem to do no wrong amongst a lot of you. I just find it strange how quickly you decided he was great. I give it until the summer until most of you turn on him. Evertonian's are good at that. Weird having a banner for a glorified scout anyway if you ask me
  17. There seems to be a lot of focus on the players going out but that's no use if the players coming in aren't an improvement. Getting rid of some of these players isn't some sort of genius move. If they've been at a midtable Premier League club there will always be someone looking to take them. Or if they've been good elsewhere but haven't done it at Everton, someone will take a punt on them. I'm also not sure getting rid of Gueye can be turned into some sort of positive because he was turning 30? Brands may not have done badly but his work so far shouldn't have had him elevated to where you lot have him. The jury should very much still be out on him not have banners of him as the Godfather
  18. Brands hasn't done anything out of the ordinary though and they make out like he's done great business but all he's really done is sign players who weren't good enough for top six clubs (in England or abroad). Spent big money on a few of them too. They've elevated him to some sort of God like status based on not a lot.
  19. I'm amazed at how much faith they have in Brands.
  20. They've done one of those behind the scenes documentaries. The Champions League semi final episode is going to be great viewing
  21. Why footballers put stuff like that on social media where millions can see is beyond me.
  22. I'm not talking about every decision that's reviewed by the VAR ref. I'm sure in the World Cup the ref was told by the people reviewing the screens that he'd either got the decision correct or if he should take another look.
  23. Why can't the match ref view it at the side of the pitch and decide for himself if he's made an error or not? Is that not what happened in the World Cup and last season in the Champions League?
