I think it's already been said that this isn't going to be a big spending window for Liverpool. So I doubt we're going to be spending the sort of money required to possibly replace Firmino.
Joshua v Wilder is clearly just going to be a case of who lands a big one first. That might be a bit over simplified but I think it's true. Joshua is clearly a better boxer and I see more chance of him setting up an opening to land a big shot but if he makes any mistakes and Wilder lands first then he's not getting up.
In a perfect world they fight next and Fury gets the winner. Won't pan out like that though
In fairness, I think the 'battered in the streets' line is about some of our fans getting attacked in Kiev. The fact that they still sing it after one of their fans got hospitalised in Germany earlier in the season makes them look incredibly stupid.
Singing about Liverpool losing a final of a competition they knocked City out of is a bit bizarre too. But like Chelsea fans after 2005 their fans have become completely obsessed with Liverpool Football Club
Mad really isn't it? Nobheads trying to claim Liverpool bottled it. Won the last nine games. Took at least four points from every team apart from Man City.
Just hope we go on to win the European Cup now. This team deserves it.
We need to be consistent in getting 80-90 points a season now. Ok some years it might not be enough to even challenge but others it will. If you only challenge once every 5 years then you can come up against teams like this City one and the United one in 2009.
I think this side is well placed to do just that. Of course no one knows what the future holds, we have to get recruitment right to stay up there. It does feel different to the previous two times we challenged under Benitez and Rodgers for me.
Yeah good point.
I certainly wouldn't be starting Sturridge. We want a fast start and need to be all over them early on. Think I'd go Mane through the middle Origi on the left. The right is a difficult one. Shaqiri seems like the only option given Chamberlain probably isn't ready for a start
Reports this morning suggest that he's out of Tuesday. Think Klopp's press conference is about to get underway so we should have confirmation soon.
What would everyone play Tuesday assuming we're without Salah as well as Firmino?
"He will not be ready for Tuesday and the rest [of the season] we will see," said Klopp, whose side face Wolves on the final day next Sunday.
Obviously doesn't sound great but still a chance he makes Wolves
