I think booing Owen when he's playing in a charity match is a bit out of order tbh. Outside of that, Owen was my second childhood hero after Fowler and it's a bit shit that he's not fondly remembered by our fans after single handedly winning the FA Cup but he only has himself to blame really.

I don't think that's the case with either. Gomez was initially expected back in February so they've taken their time with him after his set back. Chamberlain will have been out just short of a year come the end of the month

Just checked how a couple of my pre-season bets are doing: Firmino and Mane both to score 20+ PL goals (40/1). Think Firmino will let me down, he's currently on 11, Mane on 16. Not impossible though. Liverpool and Man City to score 85+ PL goals and Arsenal to score 75+ PL goals (18/1). This is on course to come in.

It sounds like Fury has pulled out. Extremely disappointing if true because I think he wins even more comfortably than he should have done first time around.

It was very scrappy overall with some of the earlier rounds hard to score. Think I had it 3-2-1 to Eubank after six.

Terrible fight. DeGale was really poor, he's finished. Hard to know what to make of Eubank because of how bad DeGale was.

Joyce got the job done but I think he looks slow and got caught too often by the even slower Stiverne.

DeGale v Eubank tonight. If DeGale has anything left he'll win this by decision. Interesting to see if Eubank's changed anything though

I think the only thing you can be critical of Joshua's team for is not getting the Wilder fight made before Fury got there. I remember Hearn saying that fight wouldn't happen. Then it happens and is a good fight and controversial, everyone wants a rematch. So Hearn comes out of looking a bit silly now imo.

Yeah the centre back situation is not ideal at all. Don't really want to be moving Fabinho from midfield with the way he's playing at the moment but I think that's the only option
