  1. They're 33/1 to go down. I'm defo having a bet on that
  2. I wouldn't worry too much, you've scored 23 goals so far in pre-season
  3. Seems that way. I don't mind him staying around the squad, I don't think there's any harm in it. I just hope we're not relying on him to be the direct back up to Firmino.
  4. Mad isn't it but when you think Liverpool have got stupid fees for players like Ibe, Ward, Benteke, Sakho and possibly one or two others over the last couple of years it wouldn't be surprising if they did it again
  5. No surprise that there could be a number of players out the door in the next couple of weeks: Liverpool have placed a £27million price tag on Divock Origi as Jurgen Klopp looks to trim his squad ahead of the new season. There could be up to seven departures over the coming fortnight - potentially generating up to £100million in sales. The Reds are open to offers for Origi, who has struggled to impress since returning from a loan spell at Wolfsburg. Liverpool want 30million Euros (£27million) for the Belgium international with Valencia keen to secure his services. Danny Ings, Marko Grujic, Sheyi Ojo, Lazar Markovic, Simon Mignolet and Pedro Chirivella are also expected to move on during the current window. Ings, who didn't travel on the club's pre-season tour of America, wants to leave in search of regular first-team football. The Reds will demand £20million for the former Burnley frontman, who is being pursued by Southampton, Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Newcastle United. Klopp doesn't want to lose Ings but understands his reasons for wanting to seek a new challenge. Grujic's future has yet to be decided. Lazio want to sign him permanently but Liverpool would need to receive a bid of around £20million for the young Serbian midfielder. The Reds' preference is for the 22-year-old to sign a new contract and then be loaned out. Cardiff City already have a loan deal agreed in principle. Liverpool will command a fee of £15million for Ojo, who spent last season at Fulham. If that asking price isn't met then a loan move is likely to be sanctioned. Reds winger Markovic is valued at around £7million and he has been the subject of interest from Anderlecht, Leganes and Getafe. Liverpool have already sold Danny Ward to Leicester City for £12.5million and they will seek a similar fee for Mignolet. Fulham have inquired about the availability of the Belgian shot-stopper but were put off by the size of the fee. Nottingham Forest and Swansea City have registered their interest in Chirivella. The Spanish youngster, who was on loan at Willem II last season, is valued at around £5million. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-set-divock-origi-price-14944134
  6. It's definitely an error. The one in the first half that he got away with was far worse though
  7. I do feel sorry for him. The abuse on social media is way over the mark at times. That can't be helping his mental state. He probably needs to come off it or get someone managing his social media accounts. He was far from perfect pre-Kiev but if he got back to that I'd be happy with him as number two. I just don't think he has the mentality to get back to that. It looks like Kiev has completely broken him.

Povetkin is his mandatory, he didn't really have a choice unless he wanted to lose his WBA title.

Caught about 8 rounds of Munguia v Smith. Good scrap that. Unfortunately Smith just didn't have the power to hurt Munguia who looks huge for the weight. Brave effort from Smith, though he lost all but one of the rounds that I saw

Absolute quality from Usyk. Gassiev disappointing, always just looking for the one knock out punch. Takes nothing away from Usyk though

    Boxing

Yeah I agree, I don't see it selling well to the average boxing fan
  12. Liverpool are spending what they should be and over the last 2-3 years are finally making signings that will see us be competitive towards the top of the league and in Europe. Who cares what anyone else thinks

Usyk v Gassiev in the final of the World Boxing Super Series tomorrow night. All four cruiserweight belts up for grabs. What a fight this should be
  14. I'm not sure how you can even begin comparing the two situations

    Tennis

Oh I completely agree with regards to the two semi finals and how bad the first one was to watch.

    Tennis

I'm guaranteed 60-odd quid from tomorrow's final. An unlikely Anderson win would see a return of over £190 though.
  17. Austrian 5th division? Surely you'd have been better fucking the game off and doing more work on the training ground. I doubt Silva will learn anything new today

    Tennis

Great watch that. Both played unbelievable tennis at times
  19. I don't even know why you've brought up me apparently moaning too much to be honest. I was responding to someone who believed the Karius concussion bollocks?? I agree with most of that. Doesn't mean there shouldn't be any criticism of the first few years though. I'm not saying anymore anyway, it'll get MadLad on one
  20. Someone in this thread did and I was responding to that Danny best me to it
  21. I don't ignore everything good we do though! And neither have I ever said they'll leave us dead and buried, ffs! My argument was that we weren't reaching our potential. For five years after FSG took over they made mistake after mistake. They've got a lot better over the last two or three years since appointing Klopp. I don't think that analysis of the club since 2010 is harsh at all All of our fans should be suspicious of any owner after the last lot
