quite a surprising result in the first test, I watched day 1 and it seemed like India thought they could play one day cricket on a juicy Centurion pitch. Two left arm seamers is a rarity for us, but it was nice to see Burger and Bedingham play

sometimes trying times lead to good things, Lewis Miley is certainly one of them. His reputation in academy football saw him touted as a fast riser however his game management and intelligence are well ahead of players at his age group. If we look after him he could be the a really good player. -
football sources are generally bad, which is why I asked if it had any truth from ground level. The only credible football sources give info when it's public knowledge and I haven't seen anything if call dependable on that subject. it makes no sense for the FA to defuct points had they also have known that Everton were going to enter administration

it's hard to deny when jihad is called on the streets of London. The thought of such a thing in a "Christian" state is itself concerning.

Kahanism is deemed a terrorist group and banned from the political sphere. About 99.9% of Israelis reject it, ergo Netenyahus last stand. like all European states with remnants of neo fascists, it's a minority that hold no political power. from family in Israel, Netenyahu's public opinion is very low, take Joe Biden and add a lot worse.

it was a wild week in the realm of political moral washing. It is always nice to get perspectives from people that were once devout Muslims or rejected Islam to be athiest. Occasionally Gonzo is able to step out of the pale of political grandstanding but the rest is just blinkered denial of the issues on the other side. you got one person posting what would ordinarily be called some Qanon conspiracy theory from absolutely nothing of substance in an age where images can be edited. while that whole piers Morgan show was frankly cringe, the hosts were unapologetic and show how entrenched jihad is within society. AP then goes through actually Hamas tweets which confirm they are only concerned with their mission and civilians do not matter to them and have stopped people fleeing to be martyrs for their cause. the war is coming to its close, thousands of militants surrendering, many have died and the hiarchy that fled to Qatar are now fleeing again in fear of Mossad finding them. Gaza is now Germany prior to the end, a few zealots fighting for a dead cause. From the border (israel/gaza) to the sea, Gaza will be Hamas free is a slogan I can get behind.

Watching man United now just feels like the Ashley era disconnect between owners and fans leading to toxicity. The club is a big mess. -

typically I would agree it isn't or at least doesn't seem realistic, however modern politics sees power in the perception of societal fallacies like systemic racism, oppression etc, smart politicians and media mouth pieces can push strong campaigns on said talking points. Scotland and Ireland are proof that dangerous rhetoric and alienation and persecution of true blood Scots and Irish can lead to policies that encourage mass migration and if you dissent you can be imprisoned. In England it may not yet be a reality but the last few months seeing people arrested for staying they really want a referendum on the situation and a plan of action, they are branded anti immigration, right wing and racists even if said people are not and include mostly liberal persons which England is predominantly central and either left or right of center. the advent of mobile internet has opened up the opportunity to guilt trip people. the common way is, your forefathers did this, now you must apologise for your "privilege". if you dont you will be condemmed by a mob of converted nihalists.

With a biden administration, nobody respects him, he can however go suck up to china.

the solution to many problems is to stop being soft, softness creates weakness which emboldens the wrong kinds. The soft hands approach on terror groups like the Houthis, Hamas, Hezbollah, Al Qeada has let to a massive spike in their ranks, they see the west as weak and feeble. 5 in 10 arab migrants to the UK want Sharia Law, that is a scary statistic that while you preach the current western mantra of not upsetting feels, the people that come are fuck all interested in the western way of life other than milking our kindness and showing absolute disrespect in return, nobody will respect you when they know they can get let off for anything because its "nice" to.

is there an actual genocide going on or are we just using emotive language to create it. tensions between Arabs and Jews in the region have been ongoing since 1870 this conflict is deeply entrenched in cultural disputes. The current escalation is due to violent acts of terror or heroic resistance however it has resulted in a full scale war. Israel has stuck by its view it is targeting targets of opportunity and the targets are weapons caches, logistic hubs and to date it's accurate. in such scenario protection under article 17 falls away. Gil Schuster has a blog where he goes around asking Palastinians and Israelis hard questions, in one he asked Palastinians if Iran had nukes whether they should nuke Tel Aviv, while the majority said yes there were a few that applied logic and said that Israel actually does more for them than HAMAS, she tried to cover herself as such things can get a person killed under the PA. Israel have been a bit messy but in no way was this unprovoked nor was it necessary. 21 peace deals Palasþine has walked away from, at some point War was a likely end game. I have seen the same left moral grandstanding, if russià hits civilian buildings it's a war crime but when Ukraine do it, it's silence. war has no moral equivilance, the Allies dropped more bombs on German cities than Germany did, who claims the moral high ground? As Fallout would say, war never changes it's ugly but grandstanding is not helping.

kahanism is banned in Israel and even at its height it was overwhelmingly rejected, 1 seat in parliament across 12 years is pathetic. it's also banned in Israel and was globally regarded a terrorist group until 2022 but in Israel they are still outlawed. Netanyahu is unpopular and in order to get over the line he got in bed with ultra nationalists, a move that has all but killed his political chances going forward. This notion of world domination and controlling everything fuels antisemitic rhetoric, Hitler a prime case.

There was a good interview not long ago with MBS, Saudi Arabia is at a internal change where their is a sect that is loyal to the old ways, most younger generation Saudi's are relaxed on the old ways. Bin Salman had said that his goal is to ensure the prosperity of Saudi Arabia, but the balance of keeping both happy but accepting that some changes are needed. The common enemy of islamic jihad helps, that said I think Saudi and the gulf states should be involved but America will need to be involved as well as they have the military power to dissuade rebel factions. Saudi Arabia is also making rapid grow in the quality of life index, ranking 32nd, 7 points behind the UK and 3 behind the US, it is marked down on the pollution index however that is rapidly falling as Saudi Arabia has reduced its fossil fuel growth and committed to alternative energy, the numbers through Numbeo which do the official global rankings. There will be other changes over time however I value cultural identification and differences, I may not agree on all aspects of Islam, but I respect the right of a person to follow the faith and ways, if we are to see more changes in aspects of life that may seem out of place in western society, it does not get done by pushing change but a educational change, it is the same way Jihad can be defeated, if you promote value of life over necessity for death and martydom, people start to push back.

This war was the ego of Zelensky and Biden v Putin and I think Ukrainians got played like a bad hand. I have not wanted this war, I have been calling for concessions and peace deals since last April. In a war of attrition Russia will outlast them while the west is counting the cost of a war with a nation the size of russia. Zelensky started a hero and bravado leader, he then turned into an ego fuelled autocrat that imprisoned political rivals and wanted to suspend elections. As per Viltali Klitchko his reputation is badly damaged an he would lose in an election bid. Maye with some good negotiating, Russia will cede back some of the Donbas, and keep Crimea which is there only thing they really wanted.

I think Saudi Arabia is the best option as it is the most substantial agreement to a peaceful transition in the middle east. Saudi Arabia denounce the Muslim brotherhood and all jihad groups and they have no desire to be an islamic theocracy. They have said they want to have arms deals with the US to help protect their growing desire to become a global economic power, it is a bit of a free hit for the west to have Saudi Arabia allied to them, and a lot of allied middle eastern states to Israel. There is also the new west pipeline which bipasses Iran that makes the Gulf states a necessary ally.
-
the only solution will be the US to stand in as a transitional government, up until they can hold free and fair elections and get a functional government and army to defend themselves against radical islamic groups trying a coup.

Iran is a bit of a funny one, the People of Iran are against a Islamic Theocracy, the only problem is the authority take that personally and kill anyone who disagree.
