Amazing!

Absolute disaster.

Brilliant news, genuinely think he was our best CB towards the end of the season. I still have very high hopes for him.
-
Interesting, genuinely thought it would be the other way round. Thought Bould might try he's hand at management, but I suppose it's a positive as he will at least bring some continuity. He is very well regarded by the players.
-
Seems as though we have got this over the line. Very promising player apparently and PSG were desperate to keep him. Obviously I haven't seen much of him, but considering he has seemed to have chosen us maybe we could see him in them first team next season in some capacity.
-
I think he will be fine, there was massive question marks over Xhaka's discipline coming from Germany and he has only been sent off twice in 2 seasons. One of them being a total joke of a red, seriously one of the worst decisions I have ever seen. I'm sure once he settles is he will be fine, may take him a season. Xhaka wasn't sent off once this season.

I think it makes sense for the club in general. Firstly Ivan has built a whole new backroom team, he is going to want a coach who is willing to fit into that system, not another Wenger. A big name coach like Allegri or Enrique I'd imagine in our current state would want a lot of leverage in terms of transfers and staff. Also I think Josh Kroenke is a major figure in the club now and the Kroenke's NFL franchise thrived last season hiring a young and inexperienced coach. I'm not saying I agree with it and I think maybe a more experienced man may be needed in this situation, but sometimes it's about giving someone a chance.

Darren is pretty reliable when it comes to this stuff, although this may just be a play by the club to keep their cards close to their chest. Arteta and Allegri seem the heavy favourites though.
-
Well apparently Wenger has been running the same training session for the last 15 years... As I thought Boro Primorac looks to be leaving as well. That is pretty much our whole first-team coaching staff gone and it's well over due.
-
Yeah I've heard/seen that Bould is very well liked figure at the club as well. Think it makes sense to keep him around, it will be interesting to see him work under a new coach.
-
On a more negative note, our U23 coaches Steve Gatting and Carl Laraman have been suspended for bullying. Rumours are swirling it led Marcus McGuane to leave for Barcelona in January. If rumours turn out to be true and they are let go, Freddie Ljungberg is being lined up to replace them.
-
Good to see the club finally clearing up the rest of the crap. I'd fully expect Primorac to leave with Wenger as well. Only really heard negative thing's about these coaches, especially Peyton who seem to turn every keeper into shite. Only first-team coaches who are looking likely to stay are Lehmann and Bould. Interesting to see If Lehmann becomes GK coach or stick to his all-round coaching role and I assume Bould is being kept on for a bit of continuity.

Don't worry I'm sure I'll spot him a mile off in his tightie whities.

Thanks a lot mate. I'm going with the other half and she has been there many times through family living near the city, but has asked me to decide on what to do. You can only really gage on what's good from Google, so I thought I'd ask you knowing you have spent a lot of time there. Thanks again mate really appreciate the help.

9I'm off to Barcelona in a few weeks, any recommendations for what to see @SirBalon? I'm already on planning on seeing Sagrada Familiar, Las Ramblas and the Nou Camp . We are also looking to go Park Guell as out accomadation is close. Also any places for food which may not be well known. I know it's a bit cheeky to ask but I though you'd be my go to man.
-
Easily our best this season, he is up there with any midfielder in the league. I'd have him over anyone in this league other than De Bruyne.
-
Because everyone has mate. How can you seriously say that when you turned your back on the manager years ago? Honestly Wenger has done nothing but harm Bellerin, he has run him in to the ground and supplied him with no cover. On top of that he has had to hold the right wing all by himself offensively and defensively with his shocking tactics. The club then denied him a move to Barcelona which he didn't complain about and just got on with it, only then to get constant abuse from the fan-base. In all honesty I can't blame Hector for wanting to leave, he is being let down here and won't fulfil his massive potential at this club in it's current state.
-
I think 95% of the fan base would give him a good send-off, even now. In all honesty, I think the biggest issue is the decision has always been in his hands when he leaves and so it has to be taken away from him now.

I don't think Wenger was ever truly sold by Lacazette, otherwise he would have brought him a few seasons ago. I think he was the best we could do last summer and the club and Wenger needed a big signing so went all in on him. I don't particularly rate him that highly, clearly a very good striker but nowhere near the calibre of player we thought we was getting. I can't really see to much difference in quality with him and Giroud. Obviously still very early but the club would not be looking to by Aubameyang if Lacazette was having a much better start/season. I do question why we just didn't go all out for Aubameyang in the summer, but maybe he wasn't interested until now?
-
He does have it easy with him for sure, but then so does everyone. If he really liked him he would have committed by now, for me anyway.
-
I think he will stay, he is just waiting for an insane contract to be offered to him. I think if we actually got rid of Wenger and replaced him well, he'd probably commit.
-
Francis Coquelin to Valencia is all but confirmed as Valencia have posted the above. Some conflicting reports on price, some are claiming £12m and other £22m. I think we would have done very well getting £22m for him so I imagine it would be closer to £12m

Don't really understand why Wenger has gone away from the back 3, it's the first time in a while our team looked comfortable and disciplined. 4 at the back has not been effective for me and our results and performances have shown that. I'd like to see us go back to it and bring back Kolasinac. AMN has done much wrong, but we need more width and he just doesn't supply that down the left. I'd like to see him more in midfield actually, which is his natural position as I do really like him. Also Lacazette is a player I can't quite put my finger on. He has clear quality and I was surprised how good he is in helping our build-up, but I'm surprised with his lack of pace something a lot of people thought he had. I just think he is too hot and cold, and he struggles to impose himself physically on the game. He will get goals but I don't think he is quite the striker we thought we was getting. What have you lads thought of him so far?
-
Great news then, it seems the club are finally relinquishing the power off of Wenger. Hopefully it's not too late though!

We have now appointed Raul Sanllehi from Barcelona as Head of Football Relations. He will apparently be our D.O.F, nice to see the club starting to address issues and actually start to make changes. Not really to sure how good he is or his track record. @SirBalon do you have any knowledge of him?
