Official now, good to see the club seek out someone with a pretty good record and apparently we are after Zorc as a sporting director too. Good to see the club finally move forward because it's about time!

Talk of us taking Mislintat from Dortmund to be our new head scout. Steve Rowley is going finally so he does need replacing and hopefully this is the start of us modernising the structure of the club. We will see though...

Agree with you on our midfield, Elneny is genuinely the worst midfielders we have had in Wenger's time here, he offers nothing offensively or defensively. Xhaka and Wilshere are players a rate highly, but have their flaws. Cazorla will probably never play for us again and Coquelin is far too limited for a club like Arsenal. Our whole midfield needs serious revamping as Ramsey is the only one who I would say is up there with the top midfielders in the league, but again he always seems to have spells of injury.

Wenger will cling on to something this season. We will still be in the top 4 hunt around March I reckon with the way Chelsea and Liverpool are currently playing, it's just typical us really. Agree with the Ozil and Sanchez sentiment, both looking like they aren't going to be here next season and don't really seem arsed. Alexis especially is just completely playing for himself whenever he is on the pitch. Wouldn't be surprised to see us try our luck this January and try and get any money possible for them. Would be so typical of the current Arsenal/Wenger regime.

Yeah because he was never good enough to hold down any position. There were always players better than him in any of the positions he played. Not to forget he missed more games than he played at Arsenal through injury. One of the most hot and cold players around and 8 times out of 10 he's cold.

Because Walcott has done far more for this club and is a superior player. Walcott is by no means a world beater but it's easy to forget he bagged 19 goals last season. Which is more than Ox managed in his whole Arsenal career pretty much.

I think he is about to sell half this team when he is the singular problem. Say what you want about these players, but someone like Simeone would turn the majority of these into top players. He is on the verge of sending us down a very bad path.

Mate I can't even joke about this anymore, it's actually unbelievable how bad this club is being run right now. It's 2011 all over again. Wenger claimed Nasri & Fabregas were staying, both then sold and we proceeded to get destoyed by United. That caused all the panic signings at the end of the window, same happening again here. Apparently there was a meeting yesterday and now Wenger will sell certain players as he only wants to keep the players who want to be there. The u-turn is embarrasing, I fully expect Alexis & Chamberlain to go with a few more. Hilarious to do this after saying they won't be sold. The club should have dealt with this situation months ago and now we are dealing with it 2 days before the end of the window...

It's actually embarrassing how this wasn't put to an end at the end of last season. Wenger should have left with that FA Cup and a brilliant last display. We have just enabled him to create utter turmoil at the club now.

Well loads of shit is coming out today. Apparently funds for transfers have been restricted by the board after assessing what it would mean to lose Özil and Sanchez on a free next season. With this the senior playing staff are very unhappy as they felt they were lied to about investment into the squad. Shkodran Mustafi called the club and Wenger about this and was apparently told to shut up, now he looks like he is leaving... Also Aaron Ramsey called out Wenger & Bould out at HT yesterday for the tactics and was subsequently subbed off. This isn't 100% but quite a few respectable people have said it especially about the funds.

Even if we did and got Ronaldo, Kroos & Ramos along with him we would still be shite. Wouldn't be surprised if we panicked bid £50m for him over the next few days. Espically as it looks like the Ox is going.

I hope the board don't allow to panic buy a load a shit over the next few days now. If rather just sell the rest of the deadwood and go with what we got. In an ideal world Wenger would just leave today and we went and got someone like Tuchel. Now more than ever the club's needs a refresh.

Wenger is desparetly hanging on to them to try and appease the fans, as he knows selling will cause more pressure on him. I mean he pathically offered the Ox 180k p/w apparently. Hilarious some Arsenal fans also claimed these players would only sign contracts if Wenger stayed... the whole club has no direction and leadership. A brand new technical team has to be brought in, no excuses anymore.

Gabriel looks to have signed for Valencia, it's pretty much done apparently. Not totally against this but the figure is only around £10m. I do think we could have got more than that but I suppose we are desperate to move players on now.

I can't believe Barca are signing Paulinho for that amount. He was genuinely shocking at Spurs, absolutely awful. No idea how they recouped most of the money back for him. I suppose he may adapt better to La Liga but surely there is something better out there.

Love to know why Chambers wasn't used yesterday, he isn't injured is he? I actually think he is better than Holding & Gabriel, it would be a shame to lose him. Interesting to see what happens the rest of the window, we do need a serious clear out.

I don't actually think he believes this team is no good when he said this current squad only needs 3 signings to compete for a title. Although I firmly believe signings are not the most important factor to improving a squad, it's clear this team needed a bit of a freshen up. Honestly I believe this would have been the the perfect time to hit the reset button, but we didn't and now we find ourselves in such a weak bargaining position. I think Wenger and the club is actually going to risk a lot of these players on one year deals because they're desperate. Fair enough risking Ozil and Alexis, but players like Ox, Ospina & Gibbs should be binned off.

I don't understand why he has come out with this when he still hasn't signed a deal which has been on the table for months. Obviously it's for PR but he should've just kept his mouth shut. All in all we are currently a mess. Only one player who has a year left on his deal has been sorted and that was Szczesny who has been sold to a better team... I can honestly say we are being terribly managed on all fronts. We are 20 days away from the new season and we have no clue what is going to happen with most of these players.

Probably, the way we're run is a joke. Wenger has far too much power over the club and it will continue to hold us back until he is gone, or someone has the courage to take it away from him.
