  1. Teams have won the fa cup and got relegated. It has papered over the cracks as it did with Wenger.
  2. Funny that Arsenal fans were dead against Mourinho for getting the Arsenal job, saying he is too negative, he will fall out with players etc . To think Arsenal were getting a younger and better version of Pep with all his ideas but we have ended up with a younger shitty version of Mourinho . Arteta who has poor man management since the time he has been at the club, awful defensive negative tactics, the only thing he has learnt from Pep is too dress like he is going clubbing after a match. I have never seen such poor negative football at Arsenal before, Arteta is lucky fans are not in the stadium. If a few more games go on like this then his job is really under pressure due to the board surely would want a top 4 finish and already with 4 loses. It looks highly unlikely that even Europa league place Arsenal will get.
  3. I think Martinez's kicking is far better than Leno, shame to see him go as he never made a mistake when called upon but if he didnt feature in those games, he would probably have left for free this summer.
  4. Its the 2nd time, first was Agaisnt Valencia in the Champions League. I think he will have to retire from this.
  5. FAF was back yesterday, it was great!

  6. He also was the man behind the deal Dembele to Barca for 145 million, it stinks of the same actions.
  7. I am not surprised one bit, the transfers he put together were shocking, also with the loan deals, paying huge fees with no clause to buy.
  8. Well the best news happened! Raul Sanllehi has been sacked! I was right all along about this guy, with his dodgy dealing and also what he did at Barca.
  9. Ajax completed 2 signings last week Mohammed Kudus for 9 million and also signed Brazilian player Antony 22 million.
  10. Well Coutinho is kind of turning into James Rodriquez, its going to be an expensive risk to sign him or a costly loan fee for him. If it doesnt work out we will find it hard selling him as Barcelona are finding out after only signing him a few years ago.
  11. Ramsey wanted a lot of money and they pulled the plug on his contract but he would've been worth keeping as he was a goal scoring midfielder, we have no one now from midfield who scores. Pepe is not rated at all, Emery didn't rate him and you can also see Arteta doesn't trust him.
  12. Wenger was one of the few managers left in Europe that didnt have a director of football, he had a say in everything along with Ivan Gazidis.
  13. It is not a player we need as it will go the same way with Ozil.
  14. Come on, Wenger is an old man he was going to go at some stage, Arsenal needed a fresh approach but even during Wengers time the recruitment was a disaster which has left Arsenal in a mess on the field and also financially now. It just makes me laugh when everyone used to say that Arsenal were the best run club they made out they were following FFP but that was just an excuse to cover up the huge mistakes from Wenger and Gazidis. I am very worried for the future of Arsenal by the people they have in place for recruitment, Edu and Sanllehi could actually bankrupt the club by the deals they are putting together and they only received 48 million from player sales this season. Already not even a year in place of their jobs, they have paid £75 million for Pepe, 16 Million loan fee for Ceballos with no option to buy, 8 Million for Luiz who only signed a year contract at the time, 5 million for Cedric who only signed a 6 month contract during that deal, 25 Million for Tierney who has been good of late but has been very injury prone, Mari 8 Million loan fee again unknown at this level as he has hardly featured due to injuries. Saliba 27 Million is an unknown but a huge amount of money to pay for a club that need defenders but made a strange decision to send him back on loan and Martinelli for 8 Million looks the best business out of the lot but for some reason Arteta never starts him who is now out injured for the rest of the year. In the future buying players like Coutinho is not the answer and is only going to make Agents richer and not improve Arsenal at all.
  15. Arsenal were going downhill halfway through Arsene Wengers reign, when the players wanted to leave to win things. That shows you that the players had lost faith in his ways, it just took a few more years before that feeling filtered down to the fans. Since that period the recruitment and the whole management of the club has been a disaster.
  16. Amsterdam in general is getting very busy again and no one cares about the Covid social distancing. I know when it is busy and getting back to normal, as people start to moan about the tourists again throwing their nitrous oxide canisters all over floor
  17. when you said windmills I just thought of the Kinderdijk, its lovely there also but away from Amsterdam. If you want something nearby Amsterdam, I would recommend as I said above, Volendam, its an old fishing village but it can get very busy as its very beautiful with the houses and the water. You should try the smoked eel, Herring and kippling there. Also you get to see the Volendam FC stadium which is near the bus stop.
  18. Kinderdijk? That is more near Rotterdam
  19. Yeah true, have you seen de Pijp area? Its near to where you are staying. Thanks to Brexit Netherlands will become richer with all the companies moving here.
  20. Can get the bus to Volendam from the back of the centraal station. It is about 20 minutes away, very nice small place to see if you want to chill, can get very busy though.
  21. The hotels are nice if you want to spend 200-300 euros a night, just like London.
  22. Haarlem would be boring if your looking for nightlife though. The Hague is worth a visit.
  23. Rotterdam is ok in the Cool district
  24. Online bullying, racism etc is another story and should have harsher punishments by law.
  25. He has been very effective at left back, when he has played further forward he doesn't seem to be much involved.
