  1. Well he is at Arsenal whatever he is trying to do is not working.
  2. I have watched enough football in my life to know certain things. I have studied sports science and conditioning. Regarging someone who doesn't know their starting XI after this time is clueless. Tell me what is Arsenals style now? Emery has been a bad appointment and they need to get rid of him before its too late. You cant keep on blaming Kroenke, Arsenal are under performing, what team has a 350k player not even in their squad. Plus players like Mustafi who cost nearly 40 million. Emery has done well with 1 club which happens but fail to continue the success at others.
  3. I just want Arsenal to win that is it and I do not see anything from Emery it is frustrating. The football is sooo boring and this is the best attack we have had for 15 years or so. Kroenke has spent money now and on players that should be good enough to get top 4 at least, also there are good youth players coming through. Emery is clearly the problem as he is clueless, he sets up one way and then changes it 2nd half every single game. He was doing this last season but it is much worse this season with better players.
  4. No I wouldnt but how can you defend Emery so far and no one can even blame the board this time.
  5. He was never captain material anyway but I blame Emery for this 100%.
  6. I think the problem was the way he walked off, the boos came when he just strolled off as he was sulking to be subbed so he did bring a lot of attention to himself. The damage has been done now, he was never a really liked by many of the fans this will just make it worse for the ones that have it in for him.
  7. I am going to Alkmaar tomorrow, it's a beautiful city.
  8. Holding will be a future captain but now Luiz is the only player I can think of and that is only because of experience.
  9. Not really consistent though, he makes a lot of errors plus his kicking is shocking when you are playing how Arsenal play out of the back.
  10. No one else really to give it to, there are no real leaders in this team, to give it to Xhaka is more of a laugh, Emery made a mockery of the situation by letting the players choose.
  11. I think Luiz will get the captaincy but Emery has handled the whole thing so badly so far, it really is mess once again at Arsenal with Emery and Xhaka.
  12. Jaap Stam has quit as Feyenoord coach. Feyenoord’s technical director Sjaak Troost said Monday he regrets Stam’s decision. He says Stam had the support of the club and players, “but if somebody says, ‘I don’t believe in it any more and don’t want to continue’ then we respect that.”
  13. Feyenoord fans attacked their own bus when it arrived back in Rotterdam, the players came off the bus to clash with supporters. They are angry on how the team has performed this season, Karsdrop also was attacked and warned they didn't want him at the club while he was in the city centre with his family a few weeks ago as he is on loan from Roma, they feel he doesnt fit the club.
  14. Ajax beat Feyenoord 4-0 yesterday and PSV lost to AZ Alkmaar at home 0-4. AZ Alkmaar have really impressed me this season as they are 2nd in the league, with Stengs and Boadu they really are top class young players as they are doing really well for the Dutch under 21 team also.
  15. This is where I go a lot as family have holiday homes in Curacao and Bonaire
  16. But where does the joke stop, if he was joking about a pale Irish man for example, no one wouldn't even bother take notice, I do think people are very quick to label something racist these days. It even gets silly that people are labelling people Nazi's or Racists because they voted for Trump or Brexit for example, the world has gone mad on that level. Silva was making a joke but maybe it was best of him to do it in a private group rather then on Social media for the crazy world to see as you have mentioned.
  17. Hoogewerf has been good for the young Dutch national sides and also he was doing class at Ajax before he left as he rejected to sign a professional contact with them, again another thing that needs to be changed. It all depends if he will get chances at Man Utd like Chong who is getting the odd game here and there.
  18. When Wenger came he was a coach before his time and when he left he was coach out of date. The sorry thing is for a lot of Arsenal fans is that they can't come to terms that he just was not any good anymore.
  19. Stop with this net spending bollocks, he spent money but it was money invested in the wrong areas of the team.

  21. Wenger cannot be seen as an elite coach, he never won anything in Europe, he was a good domestic manager.
  22. Ozil at the time was the 2nd most expensive player ever in the Premiership behind Fernando Torres who cost 50 million.
