  1. Vital win for Everton in the Merseyside derby, whilst Sheff Utd are resigned further to relegation despite scoring twice at Man Utd. Everton host Brentford next and a win for either side (or a draw for Brentford) coupled with a Luton loss will mean that survival is ensured and they can now leave this subject matter well alone!
  2. Some more classic Championship mayhem ensues going into the final 2 rounds of the season. Leicester bagged 6 priceless points against far better opposition than their previous two games; whilst Leeds dragged themselves into 2nd place edging Middlesbrough in a 7-goal thriller. Both capitalised on Ipswich not playing. Southampton played themselves out of the title race although one could argue they never really got themselves back into it; and they still do have a shot at promotion, albeit extremely slim and verging on impossible. But it could all change once again this weekend! Leeds play first out of the top 3 on Friday vs QPR, and a loss for them means Leicester will be promoted before kicking another ball. A draw for Leeds means Leicester also just need a draw, whilst Ipswich have the benefit of a game in hand to try and wrestle back into the top 2 - albeit their opponents are also chasing play-offs. Southampton simply have to win their two remaining games, and hope there's a ridiculous swing in goal difference in the process. West Brom have somehow played themselves into still needing a point to secure a play-off place after only 1 win in 6. They will probably be fine given their goal-difference, though. Norwich just need a win and hope Hull and Coventry don't win 1 of their remaining games. Hull overcame Coventry in a very important play-off chasing game last night, but the latter still have an outside shot if they win all of their games however it is out of their hands given they need 2 of the sides above them to drop points too. 8. Extremely unlikely now that Newcastle get even Europa League. Perhaps miss out on Europe altogether...
  9. Yeah that's what gets me thinking - could he have waited til the end of the season, or much closer to the end? Didn't seem right at the time to make it when he did, unless he thought it would galvanise the team to push on for a trophy.
  10. Lots of goals at Coventry but very bad mistake for Hull's 3rd.
  11. Genuine question - do you think Klopp's announcement of leaving Liverpool mid-season was the right thing to do?
  12. Don't recall Liverpool playing this badly in a derby in ages. 2-0 Everton.
  13. What is Klopp's issue? Been in the assistant's ear all game for no clear reason.
  14. Great save from Alisson but that should be 1-0 to Everton. Liverpool haven't got going yet.
  15. Congrats! Always a great feeling when you end that period of anticipation and nervousness after the offer to then have it accepted. Embrace the moving in process. Stressful sometimes but start of a new chapter!
  16. The conclusion being that @Rucksackfranzose is a bot...
  17. Yep, meant Norwich need 1 win as opposed to 1 point. But one of those teams will pretty much be knocked out of the race tonight as they play each other.
  18. A few weeks ago I think that would have held some relevance, but with Norwich only needing a point to secure playoffs, I don't think they're as tough as first thought. Ipswich are well rested too considering they had a weekend off. I think they'll beat Coventry but perhaps draw with Hull. What I have learnt though is that just because teams have nothing left to play for in terms of playoffs or survival, they can still throw up a surprise of a performance. So yeah, who the fuck knows what will happen
