  1. And that's the fault of the EU? The Europeans? Muslims? Jews? Blacks? Brown people? Foreigners? Who? Who's to blame for knife crime rises in London and all over the UK?
  2. Delusion. Then I’m the one taken to task on questioning words chosen but with the content intact and factual so as to try and discredit it in some unusual way. People should keep their eyes open and use the simple tools learned in elementary education. Nothing more is really required unless one has conditions.
  3. A farce! Bet a couple of those end up with the Lib Dems. They could’ve done this before the Euro Elections though. Not good news for the other parties coz now focus will be more centered.
  4. For me we have examples of the major problems the US really have in that they can't manipulate others in the manner they once did. The greatest example is the now with possibly the most elf indulgent President of the US in history, at least in modern history. This guy (Trump) loves himself so much but would really like to make a mark due to the narcissistic syndrome he suffers from... Plus HE NEEDS people to tell him he's great. With everything he is, he can't handle China or the US and Ping Pong Ball in North Korea has plainly been laughing at him during the whole tele-novels Trump has stupidly subjected himself to. Infact I would go as far as to say that both France and Germany have been taking the piss a bit with Trump since he became President. All of this points to Trump probably doing something even more stupid than what he's already done and I'm not talking about him saying he'd date his daughter if she wasn't exactly that or the fact he said Mexico would pay for a wall and now he can't even persuade his own country to pay for it. Something stupid will be done (although let's hope it doesn't occur to be honest)... It seems that there are a few just waiting for an excuse. So... What I'm saying is that Trump loves to advertise America as being in some much better situation than ever before which is far from the truth, but something tells me they've never been weaker and that this is the moment to take advantage. What will be curious is to see what stance the UK take with all the major issues we have in this country and not just Brexit. How much the UK will risk in sucking up to this twat at the expense of making even more enemies where we live (our neighbours)... They're curious times, maybe even quirte scary. I opine that the US has big problems and they've never been less American. (for my beloved John Cleese)
  5. I think so. Definitely for our own continent’s interests yes. This isn’t talking about that invention of a European army, but a combined, strategical and powerful defence of European interests. We then have even more competitive power.
  6. The situation with NATO and Europe is a dying requirement. Hopefully a similar thing can he created by Europe itself in the not too distant future and in so doing finally free itself from having to adhere to the US’s personal benefits with destabilising certain parts of the globe. We suffer the main retribution in Europe from their meddling.
  7. Trump thinks many things and what we can say with certainty is that whatever Trump says, one should do the opposite and one won’t go far wrong and be on the right path. It’s not just that with the issues between the US and Europe. The feeling from Europe in general is more than mutual. The US are another Russia in Euro eyes, but even more suspicious.
  8. Agree with that and it isn't the only problem the US have which they never had previously. In the past the US were guaranteed a huge amount of support in terms of genuine die hard allies which isn't the case anymore. Aside from the UK which due to our Brexit issue would probably stand firm with the US (the trade issue), the rest of Europe aren't all that pro-US these days at all and there are other commitments and reliances that on a simple face of the matter supersede total adherence to being at the US's command. Things have changed and infact Trump has burned many already fragile bridges. The world is more divided and sortied compared to the past.
  9. This on the one side; And then this from one of my idols which broke my heart... Opined! Thank goodness for London and what it is, a global flying flag for internationalism. Hadn’t it have been for the foreigners arriving opening businesses, regenerating run down areas and paying their taxes in London, we wouldn’t have the London we have today. I’m a Londoner, I know and remember.
  10. I just took it out of the back of my mind on something he tends to do to people with canons and I knew about him killing his uncle, so just threw that one in there.
  11. He's quite inventive with his executions. He apparently shot his uncle out of a canon. It's no surprise both he and Trump have warmed to eachother.
  12. This Italian journalist I follow (I recommend him, he KNOWS stuff) says; Sergio Ramos claims he doesn't know who invented the story about him wanting to go to China. Maybe he should direct himself to the president himself who the other day stated on Spanish national radio that this was infact what je had told the club. No invention by journalists or speculation.
  13. Those are not physical ahtletic attributes Cicero was alluding to. Those attributes both Iniesta and Xavi had which are benefits that supersede those with trained physical prowess.
  14. Maybe, but what's for sure is that 11 Ramos' wouldn't have won 2 European Championships and 1 World Cup for Spain whIle two singular players with natural talent were vital for this to occur and without it it wouldn't have happened. I get what you're saying, but physical prowess is 70% down to diet and disciplined training... Hence Messi who is nowhere near a physical specimen.
  15. Exactly... The records broken by Xavi in particular on kilometres run during a game were insane. They were athletes but physical power in terms of athleticism wasn’t there in the extreme that players like Ramos or Cristiano Ronaldo have. They had to use their intelligence on the ball and reading the game to fool their stronger opponents. This is where the tall player died many years ago which was where small talented players were turned away.
  16. Iniesta and Xavi didn’t need to be athletes to that extreme as Messi also doesn’t because they’re are naturally connected to the sphere and the mechanisms of the game.
  17. Looks like Trump is getting himself and his country into a decent amount of bother. Trump should be thinking about Muller’s words yesterday and when he eventually is no longer President.
  18. Remember the fans own the club. They vote for the president and the board which means there's a dangerous game to be played there. This is like politics at a fan owned club like Barça. He has eternally had the membership against him in a decent percentage and all I can say unless things have changed dramatically in a few months (and these sorts of things don't change because of results, Barça aren't Real Madrid who are also fan owned) where Neymar is concerned, all hell could break loose. Imagine having a stadium against you and the team? It wouldn't be the first time it happened and Núñez experienced it while Gaspart was strung up (not in the literal sense) and ousted.
  19. I wish, but I can't see it. There's even strong talk of Ronald Koeman (presently in charge of the Netherlands National Team) taking the job and when quizzed on it today he resigned from denying the story.
  20. You telling me. Some of the decisions you would have to try pretty damned hard to get them that wrong.
  21. That is definitely not an answer to the very few issues Barça have had (and surprisingly they are very few) in their strategical play.
  22. Crisis talks at Barcelona today after the defeat to Valencia in the Copa del Rey Final by 1-2 in Seville. Last night directly after the final club president Bartomeu told Canal+ Spain that there are going to be big changes in reference to the squad but again defended the coach (Ernesto Valverde) when pressed by stating; “Finals can be lost and nobody has a divine right to win. What happened had nothing to do with the coach. The team were very limited up front with those that couldn’t play and the ‘B’ team couldn’t have anyone brought in due to an important tie they themselves had to play.”
