Don't forget the EU forcing us to eat curved bananas when we used to eat straight ones (wherever they came from)
-
It certainly does mate and just wait until you hit the 35 years of age mark because for some unknown reason then you stop registering time altogether and years feel like months.
-
That's only a needle in the haystack of the many many false things said about it being best to leave. If only that had been the only thing!
-
Had it been his first season then there would be a pardon available mate. But last season was his second and he will be going into his third year at the club starting in August.
-
Looks like Gomes will be staying due to the injury he suffered against Spurs last night. There were several clubs chasing him but he'll now be out for two months minimum and I doubt any decent club will bet on signing him now due to the length of time.
-
I'm gonna watch it in a minute because I knew I'd end up falling asleep before it started That Arthur goal looks brilliant on that tweet though.
-
I'm trying to wait up for it too... Although I may have to go to bed and watch it tomorrow because I've got it for record. It's getting a bit late but I really want to see Arthur play.

Obviously, but the liklihood of what exactly? Another referendum on Brexit or a referendum on what deal we as British citizens would accept our government offering or taking from Brussels?
-
What are those percentages relating to?

Everyone anywhere has a valid opinion on the UK's situation regarding Brexit. Brits obviously because it will affect us first and foremost as the natives, Europeans because it will also affect them, because we are part of the continent of Europe (we can't have a referendum on geography), because we have been part of the EU for almost half a century and anyone anywhere in the world because everyone trades and because Europe (the EU) is the most powerful and biggest diverse single market on the planet. It affects everyone! But most of all... Everything surrounding Brexit is extremely well documented in the news everywhere especially in Europe and they're as upto date and in the know as we are here in the United Kingdom.

On another note, Pablo Moreno moving to Juventus is an odd one to be honest because in general (I do mean general), Juventus traditionally only bet on ready made players and the Italian league (Serie 'A') is very much like this on a larger scale by comparison to the other top leagues. He should've gone to Napoli if he wanted to try his chance in Italy.
-
We never had it better to be honest! In all honesty... There isn’t even a debate to be had on the error we’ve made. Anything regarding talking about this goes nowhere. Anyone that has all its cells in a moderate working order knows we made a massive mistake. The EU ain’t perfect by a long margin but THIS is ridiculous.

There's no doubt that Barcelona should've been more dominant in Europe with the team they had. They still done brilliantly in the Champions League (in real terms) but didn't manage to defend the Champions League and should easily have won at least a couple more. But they've totally dominated Spain in every way shape or form with the most important factor here and what El Profesor actually posted which is... The brand of football and what football fans got to see in a way never been seen before. Not Rijkaard, not anyone got to see football being played at that level in that manner EVER! Teams that played against that Barça would change to play Barcelona and not the other way around. It's also no coincidence as Cicero has pointed out that during this period we've seen those players win 1 World Cup and 2 European Championships (consecutive) at international level for Spain.
-
That was the greatest period of the most beautiful football ever seen in my opinion and the opinion of most football fans. Some have forgotten because of the tactics that were later used by some teams to combat that brand of football and have a chance. The great thing about that team is that the football they used under Guardiola was executed against everyone that came their way be it Real Madrid, Bayern Munich or Manchester United aside from more humble teams. You were left in awe with what was ocurring on the field of play with many times feeling that it looked impossible... There always seemed to be a way out and they'd find it with precise hyper fast passing designed to pull the opponent out of position and open up massive gaps to exploit and score. Football definitely changed with that period Guardiola purified and implemented... Football changed from an either defence minded game or a more direct approach by passing into counter attacking long spaces into a short passing dynamic movement where it looked like dancing with the ball. I've said it many times and believe it to be true... It's the best football anyone has ever seen.

I agree! People do change their opinions all the time and it's actually healthy to do this because otherwise where we we be as a human species? Humans HAVE to have the ability to do so and what one's opinion was in the first place wasn't actually scripture for God's sake.
-
They are bigger and I’ve never denied that mate. They’re the biggest club in the world. The only thing I argued was that last season was a disaster for them and saved face with the Champions League in a weird manner. Manchester United doesn’t come close to Liverpool apart from fabricated marketing. This is what Sir Alex Ferguson capitalised on before the money and during the Premier League product explosion.
-
Forget all the nonsense that is marketing and Premier League product selling. Make no mistake, Liverpool are the biggest club in England for all sorts of reasons by a massive margin and I mean massive!
-
He hasn't been given a number yet which is unusual unless more players will be sold or what they're speculating that he could start in RM Castilla to get him bedded in.

Yeah, Liverpool's attack is more seamless without Coutinho because even though the Brazilian is a fantastic player, he is odd in the sense that he naturally wants to start and finish his own move... That's great for epic style football but where you have a plan and you want that plan to be measured, it can stunt the mechanics of fluidity amongst the front men. Coutinho has the capabilities to combine and put in great passes but that isn't what he naturally wants to do and how he enjoys his football. To summarise... Coutinho is a very talented luxury to have in a squad and too god to bench and use as a revolutionary answer coming on. A dilemma!

You’ve precipitated yourself with your comment. It’s hilarious because it’s rubbish and untrue. Just because that guy said it doesn’t make it true. We’ve been through this already.

The 1970s and early 1980s were crap awell with mass unemployment and strikes in almost every sector. I remember the late 70s and obviously those early 80 and it was dark grey in almost every way. I knew of families that had practically nothing and another thing... Due to the fact immigration wasn’t a big favtor then, the services were shit.

General La Liga Discussion
SirBalon replied to Carnivore Chris's topic in Spanish Football Forum - La Liga
That’s why I thought Odriozola was mental to make the move. At his age he needs to be playing and with this move that’s not going to be the case.
