    Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha What the hell!
  2. The Barcelona players all met up for a lunch today in a popular seafood restaurant near the port of Barcelona and the rumours are that the unifying meeting had quite a lot to do with the anti-sentiment many of the players have against the current Barcelona board. Some of the players are very close to two of the main candidates that could push the presidential elections in the coming months. Gerard Piqué was apparently the one who called the meeting... Who else!
  3. Di María is wasted and old news. He is nowhere near what he was by a long margin. Infact too much is made of his time at Madrid. He had many many seriously crap moments with fleeting world class instances. People forget essily or are led by brandnames which also includes players. If this signing happens, this is enough (coupled with Paulinho) to show this board's desperation. It's all wrong! It's NOTHING whatsoever to do with what the club is about. For that, play the youth players and ride out their formation and evolution.
  4. Due to tours and pre appointed pre season friendlies, the Trofeo Bernabéu like the Joan Gamper sometimes is played once the season starts especially when it's an international tournament season like this one where the World Cup is coming. The season starts earlier and some clubs find themselves without dates.
  5. The board is practically hand picked by the owner and for that to happen, the owner would have to admit blame with a lot of issues. The board will remain mate! I feel sorry for Álvaro Morata in all of this... Conte worked his arse off to get him to Juventus and left two weeks later when he couldn't refuse a shock surprise invitation to become the coach of Italy. Now Conte has battled with the board to bring Morata to Chelsea and Morata could see Conte leave again although for other issues. Maybe the relationship they seem to have is forbidden in another dimension and the forces work against both of them.
  6. It could well be unfounded rumours, but in recent years a lot of what's come from inside the walls at Stamford Bridge seems to have been true. Someone at the club whoever it is, is leaking sensitive information with what goes on. This puts the club under a lot of pressure and actually makes certain issues harder to resolve because they're now in the public eye like everything surrounding with Diego Costa just to use an issue that's recent. That sort of info usually doesn't come out.
  7. This is the state of FC Barcelona and how it's being run at this moment: Jean Seri practically signed yesterday afternoon and only the last small details being ironed out. This morning news from within the club saying that Robert Fernández and his technical team pulled out of the deal in the final moments. Ousmane Dembélé deal almost finished yesterday afternoon with a new offer BvB had accepted and only a few minutes ago the news is that Barça have stopped the deal so as to focus on the Philippe Coutinho signing from Liverpool. Add to all of this the joke manner on offers that Barça have been giving Liverpool for Coutinho The Neymar saga on how he left Barcelona and how the club failed to dialogue with the player and was left for his Barcelona teammates at the time to do the talking. The Pep Segura (technical team manager) quotes on an interview where he spoke about things that he should've ferried from commenting on. Pep Segura two days previous to that oversteps his mark on his position at the club to make a public personal criticism over the performance of a player in a game (Gerard Piqué). Apparently Suing Neymar for honorary payments on his contract. I could actually go on here... I think and hope that these people are handing out the final nails for those in powerful positions to hammer them into their coffins.
  8. Indeed FC Barcelona's Twitter account was hacked last night and whoever did it announced that Ángel Di María had signed for FCB. The security at with those that run Twitter is a total joke... The amount of Twitter accounts that have been hacked in recent months are too many to count. As for the Jean Seri news... That's come from leaked information from within the club and as far as is known is genuine. I know getting hacked isn't the club's fault but it does add more fuel to the situation surrounding the FC Barcelona board and I wouldn't be surprised if this has been a situation instigated by those that oppose the board so as to cause more havoc. I hope it's working!
  9. There are all sorts of rumours passing through Europe's media (especially in Italy) that Antonio Conte could be on his way out of Chelsea FC. Apparently the relationship between him and a number of the board has reached boiling point and could be at a stage of no return. This could be just more unfounded rumours but it's now attached itself to practically every European national sports newspaper. They're even mentioning replacements that could come in for Chelsea in the shape of Luis Enrique or Thomas Tuchel.
  10. So, with the deal done between both FC Barcelona and Nice, and a full agreement between Barça and Jean Seri... Barcelona pull out in the last moment and will apparently no longer sign the player. The only leaked news coming out from inside Barcelona is that this has been a technical decision. If that's the case, then this is the absolute proof that the board at every level is totally incompetent. Why spend so much time and money on a "target" only to find out in the final minutes that he isn't a player that suits the team.
  11. Already being spoken about in the Barcelona thread. Depends how you want to see it... Barça are in their right to sue although in my personal opinion this is just another of the many examples of why this board is incompetent. The reason any of this has happened and more is down to them first and foremost.
  12. They both exchange on loan deals but with an option to buy at the end of the season. If Kondogbia is anything like he was at Sevilla, there's no doubt Valencia will activate that option.
  13. Barça have a big problem on their hands if they think they're gonna beat the state of Qatar in court.

  15. How has he made them look like mugs with this?
  16. This time Neymar who visited Barcelona today to be with his now previous teammates at Barça, posted this Instagram... "Se Queda" (He stays) This one above he's titled "Amigos" (Friends) This one Messi posted on his own Instagram and is quite ironic and taking the piss to be honest... "Volvió" (He returned)
  17. You know quite a bit about Ligue1 mate... I think you probably fathom what I'm going to ask, but what about Jean Seri? I know of him but I have to be honest, I think I watched two Ligue1 games last season and none of them were Nice games. Is this a signing Barça should be going for? The whole thing revolves around an interview Xavi gave to The New York Times a couple of months back even though the Barça technical staff (Robert Fernández namely) swear it has nothing to do with what Xavi said. But seeing as this bunch of people are some of the most incompetent in the history of the club... Well, since Joan Gaspart's reign and the ones he had doing the signings then... I don't know what to believe.
  18. Ramos isn't only defended by the club because of his ultra-Spanishness... Or hyper-patriotism. He is massively defended by Madrid's press. He is their hammer figure and one they coax to come out with quirks or partisan comments especially when in reference to another vocal character in Spanish football which is Gerard Piqué... The only difference being that Piqué in general is much more intelligent than the man from Seville and I promise you I'm not being biased there. In saying this, Sergio Ramos is a very good defender when concentrating and not letting his emotions take over the few top quality football brain cells that live within his skull. Not only is he a very good defender, but he's also a player that lives in the the epic world of football. He is the epitome of "EPIC" in the football sense and THAT is something extremely important for a top football club if we can somehow dismiss the fact he loses it and gets himself sent-off so many times a season.
  19. Some of the Barça players when quizzed on the Paulinho signing have said that he is different to anything else in the squad. Iniesta said, "We've never had anything like him before and could bring us some other needs in certain games". To that I can only assume Iniesta is talking about a plan 'b' which Barcelona doesn't tend to have apart form at times playing more vertical and direct. What I mean is obviously closing up shop in certain games by putting Paulinho to partner Busquets in midfield. Last season Luis Enrique tried and tried again to use this tool by putting André Gomes in that position and it never worked. I get why he did it because André is physically imposing and a big player with good technical ability... But his distribution at times failed him! Rakitić has also played there and he would have ups and downs in that position, sometimes in the very same game. So maybe it's that. Because what's for sure is that I can't recollect that type of player at Barça in my lifetime although maybe there has been one or more but I haven't racked my brain too much about it. It is weird though!
  20. Where does Paulinho fit in all of this is my question!
  21. I think here it's all about confidence after the traumatic past month the club have had coupled with the Supercopa against Real Madrid.
  22. Very intense in the first half and have let themselves go in the second period (gone down the gears). Messi has hit the woodwork a couple of times and there's been chances. Betis have also had a couple themselves. You can't take too much from this game though... For me man of the match has been Sergi Roberto by a distance.
I haven't read that article but I've read similar things in the past even when ridiculous satires like this one weren't a part of it. Stories revolving his departure have been circling for a long time and nothing has ever come of it. He has an agreement for his contract renewal and Messi isn't the type to be a traitorous scumbag due to the history he has at the club. But then again I wouldn't blame him if he was sick and tired of this board and that he wants guarantees for the future of the team and its competitiveness. Because what he wants above all else is to win! FC Barcelona have gone through much bigger depressions than this one throughout their history... They got over those and they'll get over this one because they're just too big. As for Arab money in football... Yeah! They have to legitimise their objectives somehow.
